Been loading norma brass in 300winmag but I just picked up 100 pieces of Peterson long.

20 capacity on the fired norma is 95gr. Virgin Peterson is 89.4gr.

About how much should I back off my current load to start on the new brass? I was thinking 1gr.

As someone that works with chemicals all day long, there is more than skin exposure. Im just trying to limit the exposure to my family, thats all. Im not a I wanna live forever guy, but I also dont want to kick the bucket over firearm maintenance.

There are products that work just as good that are significantly less harmful to us, this can be said for many chemicals we use in life. Not just here.

Thats all bud, just looking to cut back on exposure.

V-Series Magazine Update:

It's looking pretty awesome. This is the roughing op for the V2217 (V22 compatible, 17 round capacity) Left Magazine Half. We started proofing the approach with the larger magazine to validate the physical clearance envelope and there's gobs of room.

Thanks to the change of approach, we're ahead of schedule and will start running the V2210 within another few days.

Looks like Factory is done Open will finish today and Factory winner will likely be 2nd overall , but honestly IPRF factory category is a joke MPA ,Victrix,Anschutz open rifles and folks with stock CZ and Tikka in synthetic and wood stocks in same division.

Yup. Too many players = over saturated market. The big bourbon craze is fading somewhat with nothing on the horizon to replace it. The market will correct itself in time and then there will be fewer players.

It’s a fixturing problem for sure.

If I were doing it, I’d strip the gun and see if the barrel is long enough to go through the headstock into a collet. Failing that, remove barrel from action. Failing that, secure the action in a four-jaw chuck and spend a lot of time centering it…run muzzle in a live center to thread.
If it’s long enough, a steady rest might be needed.

There are a bunch of ways to potentially thread. But will take the right equipment and someone go knows what they are doing!!

Not sure how hard it is to remove the barrel from a Marlin lever… but the time invested there is. LOT of time potentially saved in fixturing!

Is your compensation spelled out in any form of a contract? If so; are they upholding their end of it?

And yes, they will pay you the least amount possible. Are there other “perks” you aren’t considering as compensation that maybe they are? Leaving is the easy part, coming back is a mother fucker.
