The 1-6x Vortex PST Gen II works well also. Had one on for a while and definitely easier to hit out farther than the red dot. Moved it to a 16” .223 though as the red dot was a better fit for my closer in uses. That Strike Eagle he was talking about in the first post would do the job too.

My nephew is a CG MSRT, the dudes that do this maritime drug interdiction stuff. They may be Coast Guard, but they legit. They’re located close to both SEAL bases in Coronado and VA Beach and have some cross-training between the two orgs.

24hrs isn't that long and the adhesive will cure in less than 24hrs. 150º will not temper or anneal anything, but I wouldn't proceed without asking either manufacturer this very question.

I was tired and stressed last night and missed this. Guys, he is bored and looking to attack a well know opponent to have fun. I think it is time we let him go have fun playing with himself.

Why can’t you hold 7-10 mils? The reticle is there with it and all you have to do is hold over. Same as dialing. That comes down more to practice and becoming proficient and confident. It’s far from impossible to do and you will spend more time dialing than finding your hold and being rushed will cause more misses than holding.

To the original question, yeah some are and that 300-350 range seems to be a good area to test the shooter but not make it more luck than skill but it’s always a little fun to push the range. Everyone is shooting it so it’s fair enough to toss one in there at 400+. The MD can use a little larger target if he wanted to make it a little easier.

Old Colt, Sionics and SOLGW make probably the best in spec carriers you can get.
