Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+

Spent a lot of time behind them this weekend. Ranged cattle at 1400 yds every time. Trees out to a mile no problem. Got returns on trees at 2700 but not reliably. There were really no reflective targets past a mile that I could range to test its upper limits. This was all broad daylight, bright sun directly overhead. The BT connectivity has been extremely reliable and fast. The range and drop data return a reading very quickly, I'd say under 2 seconds at all ranges. I need to figure out how to keep the drop data displayed a bit longer, it goes away fairly quickly.

I really appreciate how simple these are to use, 2 buttons and very easy to use menus, not a ton of extra crap you don't really use. Dummy proof is how I like my gear.

The glass is very good as @koshkin has said. They may get beat by something like an NL Pure but I doubt there are very many other binos with better glass, especially with a RF. I have zero concerns about them holding me back when glassing for hunting.
I do not think you will find better image quality in an LRF binoculars, at least not that I am aware of. With non-LRF binos, the very top end ones will be a little better: Noctivid, NL Pure, Victory HT.

Mike’s Stocks barrels?

I have no experience with Mikes personally but the barrels stock numbers are preceeded with KSA (Keystone Sporting Arms). They made the Crickett I believe then got into 10/22 barrels. From what I read their Cricketts were very nice shooters. I haven't seen much on the 10/22 barrels but they seem legit. It appears they have what you want for the right price; give 'em a shot.

Amateur OSINTer posting potential targets in Yemen , US military bombs them

Exactamundo- Cut all funding + Boycott, Divest, Sanction & More (BDSM) 👺

All we have to do is be American and put a permanent stop to the Genocide.

The Memorandum of Understanding with the J-state is up for renegotiation next year though- and Mielkowski hopes to change it from a 10-year agreement at a minimum $3,800,000,000 per year to a 25-year agreement at a minumum $4,000,000,000 per year.

This is the old one from 2016: https://obamawhitehouse.archives.go...sheet-memorandum-understanding-reached-israel

It is said that there will be a kiss of death in the new one, additionally- J-state will demand to be integrated into our intelligence apparatus, so that they can rig our participation in future wars of conquest.

They are selling Trump on fake "AI-powered" tools and phony "Hi Tech" stuff that we totally need to "keep up."

It's all a fake scam though.
Its not just 3or 4billion yearly , every Israely neighbor including the Palestians, get paid to play nice.

Egypt,Lebanon ,Jordan are all part of the package that gets paid another 3-4 billion

Israeli IP theft in US is second only to China ,capture of US govement is absolute , and while folks might think its benign , its not whole political discorse, culture wars, censorship , identity politcs comes from ME overlords. They have history of trying out socialism with every host they manage to state capture .Quite a destructive ideology steming from some backwaters vilage in Belarus. (tribe in ME are east europeans not from ME )

"Stolen." They were promised their IP 3000 years ago. This is antisemitism 💪 :ROFLMAO:

Your PVA prefit experience

It's been a while since I made a specific effort to provide a status update, so here we go:

MODUS Rifles: We have a bespoke stock for all of the rifles now and they're in production already. The stocks are carbon shell, lightweight core and they're a shade under 25oz as shown with a full thickness recoil pad. We can do adjustable cheeks on a custom order, we're not planning to keep those in the normal production queue because of the weight that most guys (understandably) don't want to be penalized for on a mountain rifle. Due to several price increases we've gotten on the action, new stocks and other production costs on the rifle we are unfortunately going to have to increase the price going forward as of May 15th.

The long action, lightweight option with carbon barrel currently weighs less than 6.5lb and several of them have been holding match rifle performance on 800+ yard targets. I'm pretty confident in saying that we've got a rifle that will compete or outclass just about any other high dollar package on the market. We've been working with Vantage Research and they're offering turn key ammo with our bulltes for the Modus rifles as well.

AR15 barrels: We just finished up a batch of AR barrels (I apologize for how long it took us)

We have 223 Wyldes in the usual 16/18/20 and we added 16" with Intermediate length gas (using the Noveske spec IM). I didn't make a ton of those so we could see how they would sell, but we do have about 2 dozen available currently.

223 Wylde
22 ARC
6mm ARC

Osprey Blanks and Prefits: We're doing pretty well here as usual, standard lead time is 8 weeks and we have some rush slots allocated after hours each week for those who find themselves in a bind (or they're just impatient ;-)

Chambers: I added or am adding a few new calibers to the website over the next few weeks as reamers arrive.

  • 7mm Backcountry (limited action options due to high pressure design)
  • 7 Sherman Max, current gen
  • 7 Sherman Mega, current gen
  • 7 SWC (Sherman improved variant of the 7x47 Lapua)
  • 22 PRC
  • 6 PRC
  • 25 PRC
  • 6.5 x 7 PRC
  • 6 x 7 PRC
  • 7 WSM (apparently brass is back in production so we're dusting this one off) - call us prior to ordering please
Solus Barreled Actions: As receivers arrive we add them to the website in limited quantities. Due to the current lead times and nature of Solus availability over the past 6 months we aren't able to offer a standard lead time unless we actually have the actions on hand. I'm working to have a better solution in the coming months but for now, that's where things stand.

We do have some extra solus bolt heads in various sizes, again due to availability, they're for sale with a prefit only.

Projectiles: We are doing final testing on some 7mm 185 class hunting and match bullets currently. They require 7tw barrels (we have Ospreys in 7tw) and the BC is looking quite impressive on both. 0.42-0.43 on the hunting bullets and about 12-15% higher on the match variants (0.50 roughly).

Based on some feedback with other Hide members I've also updated the 170's to help out some guys who had borderline stability problems. I sent prototypes off to @Conrad and another member here to do testing side by side with the latest generation. Some guys are reporting no issues, a few are having problems. We have not be able to recreate stability problems here so while I'm digging into it I'm also not sure we have a problem with the advertised product. Many thousands of them have been shot with excellent results.

Bartlein New Barrel Material 400MODBB

We're on our 3rd lot of material if not the 4th depending on the diameter of the material. We haven't noticed anything different in how they are chambering etc....

I'll ask a question... who made your reamer?

Also Sig has been the biggest gun user/manufacturer for R&D and builds using the BB material. They are doing all of the finish work (other than us contouring the blanks to they're drawings) and they haven't called with any questions in regards to how a chamber reamer is cutting etc... They've got another order in for some more barrels out of the material. Just got the order last week.

So.....

Later, Frank
