The amount of foreign flags (Israel's) in the halls and offices of Congress and the Senate is sickening.

AIPAC spends hundreds of billions buying off politicians and influencing our politics for the gain of a foreign power.

How that's been allowed is absolutely disgraceful.

I do see the irony.
I don't think Iran is smart enough to have a nuclear arsenal.

But if you look at slices of our history some of our President's were so stupid they shouldn't have had a stapler within reach.

That's my take on some of them. That's internal to the US what do you think some of the rest of the world sees our competence leval at with Democrat clowns in charge every few years.

Luckily we have a semblance of checks and balances that I don't think exists in many countries.

At least I hope it's still in place having serviced delivery platforms and at times been on orders to guard tnw's.

It's a little unnerving.

I agree that our foreign policy is unhinged. We are good bedfellows with Israel on that front.

We should have nothing to do with the ME. Israel can fight its own battles.

Supporting Israel in all of its wars and conflicts in the region is inherently against US interests. All the previous regime change wars we've fought on their behalf has been nothing but disastrous for us. Iran will be another one.

If Israel the welfare Queen wants to fight Iran, it can have at it. Just leave us the fuck out of it.

Barrel cleaning with alcohol

Keith Glasscock (real name) posted a YT video demonstrating the effects of CLR on a stainless steel barrel. He cut a 1-inch section from a Benchmark SS barrel and showed the etching results over different exposure times (up to 24 hrs iirc). I've seen recommendations elsewhere to use alcohol to remove CLR residue or other solvents before applying an oil patch for storage.

Oh, I agree.

I'm being way to sensible and pragmatic.

I just find the irony of a country that has a secret stockpile of nuclear weapons and isn't part of the non-proliferation treaty accusing another country who is part of the non-proliferation treaty and doesn't have nukes to be incredibly palpable.
