DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

With currently available ammo, OAT and other climate considerations have to be made, and adjust accordingly, but when done effectively, nothing could run with my nine twist guns at distance. Way too many details to try to write it in a post.

The goals with the nine twist were/are large; I had some barrel makers on board and started getting deeper into the ammo makers interest when the wheels fell off at VGW.

MB
I talked to a barrel manufacturer test crew about it. Basically said the same thing. I guess if a guy could buy points on very small targets past 200 it would be hard to resist. I just did a 5 shot centerfire group at 400 the other day with 1 1/4” vertical. A 24 shot custom Rimfire rifle group at the same distance was 9 1/4” of vertical.

LaRue MBT is still an option at $115?

In the $125ish price range it’s really hard to beat the triggertech duty triggers. The 3.5lb single and two stage are phenomenal.
I suppose it's personal preference, but I really don't care for my Triggertech duty 2 stage, it feels heavier to me, especially on the second stage than my LaRue's. Of course I had the LaRue's first and more of them, but after a couple sessions I put the LaRue back in my favorite rifle and benched the TT Duty. I've recently put the Duty into another lower and have been having light strikes with AAC 5.56, only trigger I've had that with.

Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Additionally we have been working hard on being able to offer a new line of barrels that support increased barrel life while maintaining accuracy under heavier firing schedules.

I've seen a few of these around, they have a Goofy name that starts with a G almost like it's some dickheads last name.😁

Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

This isn't unusual for a fair number of stocks - not just Manners. They could shorten the cheek riser, but then you've got... well... a shortened cheek riser.

I don't find this to be an issue at all - the only time it comes up is on my rifles where I can't eject a loaded case due to its length (thus requiring a bolt pull). I ended up putting a shaft collar around one of the posts of all my cheek risers so I can pull the piece off and quickly put it back on at exactly the right height without worrying about the snap clip shooting off.

And I have probably half a dozen 3/16" wrenches in my range tool kit and spread around my range bag...

I transport most of my rifles in a hard case with the bolt pulled, so I’m constantly taking my bolts out. That’s where it’s going to suck most. But also cleaning, etc, etc.
I haven’t picked a case for this new rifle yet. maybe I’ll just use a nice soft case.

6 ARC Gas Guns

Yes I have tried multiple bullets with multiple powders. I’m not new to reloading. I normally pick a bullet and a powder that I want to use and find an accurate load. This barrel might just be a turd but I’m not the type to give up very quickly without trying a lot of options. I cant get it to shoot 105 hybrids with varget and alpha brass so it’s probably a turd.
I messed around with what was supposed to be a quality 6 arc barrel. I never could get it shoot. I had a bunch of other problems also.

Then I picked up a cheap cmmg 6 arc barrel, while I was waiting for an x-caliber 6 arc barrel, having washed my hands cometeley of the company with the trouble barrel. The cmmg shooots pretty good for a 16" .750 profile barrel, and the x-caliber shoots quite well. It is a 22"+2 gas spr profile.

22 cal Slug/lead bullet BC's

Have taken my RAW HM1000x to a few matches and have done great with my custom swaged slugs. This rifle was tuned and built by Martin to shoot 30 grain slugs, and it does it great.

Have been working on my Ghost to shoot the same slugs, and while almost there there is more work to do. I would choose either of these rifles over an FX any day. To many issues with Fx. And the rifles that those MDT boys were shooting are HIGHLY modified and I would venture to guess that they has parts most people can't get.

It is what it is. Would be fun to go to RMAC but there is to much money and it is an arms race more than anything.

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Agreed, and believe me, lessons were learned 🤣. First, my original scope mount couldn’t take the recoil and the scope was moving between shots. Second, my standard arca bipod connection was sliding from the recoil. Third, I was shouldering the butpad too high and it was hitting my collarbone and recoil was really painful. My solutions were a badger max scope mount, area419 arcalock bipod adapter, and really getting comfy with the butpad lower on my chest. Too bad it cost me about $200 in ammo to figure all that out 🤣
