Sidearms & Scatterguns Handguns...show 'em

The new P10c Comp seems to be pretty cool so far with a couple hundred rounds on it. Definitely shoots flatter with that big port. Time will tell if its as reliable as the previous version.

Out if curiosity man, because I'm starting to look into comp'd pistols too... How much more report/blast are you getting with the comp?

Still contemplating a savage 10fp in 308.

I've been on this forum for quite a while.
I remember when folks bragged about buying their new savages and rem 700 sps tactical rifles.
When the SPS tactical first came out and Mark Gordon was just getting SAC off the ground, he offered an accurizing package, retaining the factory barrel.
There were many, many happy .308 owners in those days, until they learned that aparrently, you can't hit any targets with a .308 and any action that isn't a custom is a waste of time and money.
Those were the days.

Ukraine war Bullshit.

Yep. But if the idea of them raiding the capital had been enough to get the Ukrainian government to flee, cause enough disruption in ranks , disorganization in how to respond it could have worked. I think that was their aim. With out too much sacrifice from the Russians.

It didn’t work. Why I use the term hail marry, as it has a very little chance of success but if it does, all the better.
Personally I'm of almost the same idea but think the Russian goal was to put pressure on Ukraine to bring them to the negotiating table. Say they could use the airport it would have taken at least a couple days to get in the VDV's equipment, which means they weren't moving into a hostile city for say three days in which the Ukraines could get organised. So overall I'm not sure if they ever intended to reach Kiev with any sort of seriuos intention.
It could have also been a feint. Two thirds of the Russian forces were location in the south/Donbas and they did a pretty good job.

Couple? To seriously fight for Kiev without defense collapsing and political crash you would need “several” divisions or combined armies in range of 200k+ men and with full logistical support.

Edited: To clarify this relates to incursion and “shock therapy” not to actual events.
Google say the US has about twenty active divisions across the US Army and National Guard, these are the sort of number you are starting to look at for taking Kiev against armed resistance.

Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

I am really happy with it overall. But why would Manners make a specific tikka variant (LRH tk), that doesn’t allow the tikka bolt to be removed without first removing the cheek piece? Couldn’t the recess have been made to work with the rifle the stock is designed to fit?
This is just a heads up for potential buyers. It’s becoming more and more of a pain in the ass, as I get the rifle put together.

Why do people load so hot?

Just as a heads up....Shellshock released their 308 binary cases for sale today. Ordered 250 to play with, if they work as advertised itll be a hoot. They are less expensive the Alpha and Peterson.
In my .308 pushing 177 SMK's with 46.5 grs H-4895 got those pills to average 2,902 fps, this using neck up 277 Sig Hybrid cases with the cartridge COAL of 2.977" . Estimated PSI at 80k with no bolt lift or extraction issues over 15 shots, which is easy enough to do for modern actions to handle. But, DO NOT try this load in your gun as you could easily find even higher pressure than this. You'd better know what you're doing!
6.8x51 Hybrid cases finished proessing to .308.jpg

Ultimate reloader ran a test on some .308 Alpha Munitions brass. . . for those of you that might find it interesting:
