I commented on these on facebook. The hump behind the safety isn't as distinct on these and some other features are just a tad different. But on facebook you could see the brass pin on the left side of the stock.
Personally I do think they are most likely real, I just think they are probably from the later runs made. Like my gut makes me think it's those ones that went to the Air Foce and Navy in 1969.
Nice rifle! It’s not a 1411. That is a model 64 repeater with heavy barrel and a spectacular refinished stock. Many of the older Anschutz stock had wonderful wood hiding under really ugly varnish. I have ZERO doubts that it will shoot wonderfully. Congratulations!!
All my JP rifles have come from the PX here. The one I referenced is actually the JP-15. I paid around $1500 on this site. Compete build, low round count. Same barrels, just not the bells and whistles. I've had the side chargers in a large frame and if you have the money it's awesome, but not necessary.
