Accuracy International Picture Thread

Sounds a little high to start with.
I recent looked at every thread I could find for loads in the 168gr range, IMR 4064 and Varget seems to shoot well for many people around 42gr.

I'd start be looking 41-45(maybe 46).
These are all the loads I found people using.
Ok, little report for the load dev for the Ai 20" barrel.

Loading off the lands 0.05 with some twice shot and annealed Lapua brass, 175 Berger OTMs and 44gr of varget seems to do the magic. Getting 2650fps at 77deg, and a Stand Dev of 14.5, the accuracy is very nice.

I tried a 42gr load, it was not nearly as promising. The 44gr of varget does the job.

RRS TFCT 14L w Anvil 30 too heavy for backpack backcountry hunting?

Love my TFCT 33, it simply rocks. It allows things not possible with lesser tripods.

I’m thinking, for the mountain hunter/shooter. The TFCT 33 & 14 are great compliments to the gear room. Super stable platform in the 33, and then ultra light compactness when required in the 14. Only have to justify having $3k worth of tripods laying around 😂

Shot no of it was my choice..it’s obvious which one

Kitchen came about a year ago the other day she sprung the body shop lol
Tell her to hit the gym. No body shop without effort to keep the investment up. That comes first. But consideration has to be given to age and kids. Some things can’t be undone.

The MDT LSS GEN3–the most adaptable and customizable rifle chassis ever built.

I’ll be the first to say, you need to put up a chart on the main page with the weights for all the individual parts so that people can make a more informed choice about which parts will work best for their build.
This, or add the total weight along with the $$ at the end. Especially once more lightweight parts are added to the choices. Martin commented it would be a few months before all the options made it onto the website.
