@Lowlight not sure if this has been covered before but…

Say for example that I’m in the field and have a rifle for which I lost all dope (happened to me on a hunt, idiot me only put the dope on the scope cap
that I promptly lost on day 1)….rather than go from memory or find a range, can I gather dope at only one range and back-calculate the rest of the dope with gravity ballistics and be close enough to hunt with? What range would that one target need to be at? I assume far enough to test BC.

Used to go to some Ferrari club events and a good friend has a serious “stable”.

Over the years it became kind of a long weekend with girlfriends or wife a few times a year..so we’d swap cars at times for different legs of the ride or going to dinner.

Rented out line Rock and Watkins glen a bunch of times. Was surprisingly cheap back then.

One guy had a F50, which is the car of all cars. Only had a little seat time on a local road but that’s the pinochle of cars hands down.

F40 was as expected, absolute go cart with 500hp, half ass brakes and a lag/boost combo that wants to bite you lol..but the f50 just feels perfect.

I’d say the 40 is like a young pornstar and the 50 is a very expensive escort.

I saw one too but I don't remember where. It was on a YouTube video for a series that takes place here in TX. I did not see that one coming, a dasher in 6.5 cal.

I love the idea of the slugs catching up to rimfires, but as you said, we need some actual air rifles that can be consistent. Air rifles might have consistent ammo unlike rimfires, but rimfires have consistent rifles.

Take for example that Skout… I have never seen an air rifle have so many problems just to fill the dang gun and stay filled! Accurate but a pain to deal with. Seems like FX has a few rifles that have excelled in slugs, but their reg issues and wondering POI issues keep them from being consistent enough to actually compete with rimfires too.

It is nice to pull the CZ out with its favorite ammo and know I will have zero issues.
