Use of a comparitor / gauge is essential if you have more than one gun in like calibers .

I now have 5 ar's running identical brass. It did involve replacing one bcg but well worth it.

The Gen 1 is likely stiff enough for most uses. If you are running AW magazines, you will need the magazine height adjustability of the Gen 2.
