I just got a lengthy tutorial on triggers. We do not have a manual or anything that would be helpful with that trigger. I wish I had better info.

My intent is to use it for daytime target shooting from 250-1000 yards. After studying the reticle subtensions, the non-illuminated TMR has a much thinner aiming point that the illuminated version of the same reticle (it's twice as thick).

I'm curious to hear what people's experiences are with the non-illuminated TMR. It is thin enough to hit 1000 yards on larger steel targets (like 12 inches+)?

I run the illuminated TMR (the thick one with the center dot) on all of my precision rifles and have had no problems hitting the targets you describe.

My spotting scope has the non-illuminated TMR (the thin one with the open center), and while I do not prefer its thinness, I assess that it would also be sufficient for hitting the targets you describe.

You can make that trigger single stage or two stage with the same trigger?

anyone else having trouble in updating the 5700 elite to firmware V 1.55..? It will down load all the way but when it cycles it still has FW 1.53 on the kestrel.

The reticle spec sheet shows very different line thickness for illuminated vs non.

Not sure what trigger the AX50 has, but for the older non-competition AW/AE/AT/AX triggers the weight adjustment screw is the vertical screw closest to the front of the trigger housing.

This picture is for the old non adjustable shoe AE/AW triggers, but I believe the weight adjustment screw location is the same on the later triggers with the adjustable shoe (it's been a while since I messed with my 3 adjustable shoe non-comp triggers.) The non-comp triggers usually only go down to 3.25lb or so, I believe the AI spec for minimum pull weight is 1.5kg.



The newer xtsp made competition triggers will go much lower, especially with the lighter springs installed... Not sure the comp trigger was offered on the AX50 though. Competition trigger diagram below...



I could also be way off and the 50s came with a completely different trigger than the smaller models...

My son runs a 25” and my buddy runs a 24”.

Well... I was at the range with my dad and his best friend, Kirk. I was zeroing in my R700 with a new BEAST at the time. He asked my how's it shooting, I said, " so good I can kill a fly". He said we'll there's a fly on that target at 108 yards, think you can kill it.

I think I got him.
