Ukraine war Bullshit.

yep....bicycles and sandals worked quite well once
yes they did. it seems to me that besides economics the attitude of the controlling gov and/or of the population's attitude towards casualties is a major factor in who wins. AFG and VN are examples,i think.
also, #s have it's own quality. Pzkw 5 & 6 vs t34. t34 was faster and cheaper to produce and was good enough. not sure but i think Panther and Tiger knocked them out at about 10-1. 1-1 superior, much better crews, didn't matter in the end.
viet death #s are all over but you read about 1-1.5 mil with about 1/2 mil PAVN/cong combat deaths. ours were 58K over 10 years. we lost and the civilian reaction to the war almost destroyed our society with a bunch of other issues at the time.

Advice Ideas on a guitar build

Birch plywood (many layers of thin 'semi-hardwood' cross-grained veneers) covered in a Poplar veneer (if that's the face-grain you're wanting) might be better and more structurally sound.

(see what I did there?)

Also, it being more 'solid' might help with the vibrations created, too. I'm sure others will chime in here.

(see what I did there, too?)

Optics Delta Javelin 4.5-30x56 FFP riflescope with SMR-1 reticle

Delta Javelin 4.5-30x56 FFP Optically and mechanically it is in excellent shape. If you try hard, you can kinda see where it was clamped into the Area 419 mount.
In terms of performance, it is somewhat similar to Ares ETR in terms of optical and mechanical performance, maybe a hair better, but that could be due to sample variation. The turrets are a bit taller and easy to grasp and to read. The reticle is different. This one has SMR-1 reticle, which stands for Scandinavian Match Reticle.
I am just selling the scope, not the mount. It does come with the metal flip-up caps.

$800 shipped within CONUS.

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

The Rainbow for thousands of years has literally represented God's promise never to destroy the world again by flood. That this is the symbol and flag of pride in sin is just about the ultimate slap in the face to every Jew and Christian on planet earth..., but that's the point, isn't it?

NICS checks out in free states

I believe, the way it reads, it is just plain wrong or misleading at the very least

Also, different searches (even with the NSP) brought up the same info which makes you think you have to run NICS for long gun transfer (all stated "our information may be wrong"................... Huh???)

They all had pretty much the same language

NEBRASKA IS A PARTIAL POINT-OF-CONTACT STATE, MEANING FFLS CONTACT THE FBI FOR LONG GUN BACKGROUND CHECKS, WHILE A STATE ISSUED HANDGUN PERMIT IS USED FOR HANDGUN BACKGROUND CHECKS.

I called the BATF office in Omaha and asked an agent there for clarification just in case something had changed.
She said "the map/internet search is wrong" and "If a customer presents you with a current and valid NCHP or NFPC you do not have to run a NICS check for transfer of a long gun"

There is a place on 4473's to put that information on why a NICS check was not required

So, once again, take what you read on the internet with a grain of salt and don't bet your livelihood on it.
How are you supposed to do that when the site literally IS the www.atf.gov? Really? Really? They are putting up false information on the official website of the ATF? Just how fucked up and bush league does it get with these fucking clowns?

New Applied Ballistics® Quantum™ APP! - & It's Free!

Doc, here is an enhancement idea for you. No idea how difficult it would be. Let us rename the devices. For example, I have 2 Fire4000 WMLRFs, would like to be able to name them something other than the serial so it makes it easier to distinguish.
I can add it to the list for internal discussion for sure.

Smarter Than You

Many of these jobs could have completely automated over a decade ago, but the calculations were different.

“Am I going to pay 20 engineers, making $150k+/yr, to automate the jobs of those making $30k……and then keep paying a few of them to maintain the system?”

Versus

“Am I going to have 3 of my existing, non-engineering employees automate the jobs of those same people?”

The sad truth is that a majority of employees contribute very little. They give 2-3hrs of inefficient work per day and are lifted/elevated by the small number of productive experts.

NICS checks out in free states

I get it. I have no idea how it actually works in NE since I'm in TX. I'd have to go through the process myself to figure it out. But even that isn't a guarantee because I've had people tell me they didn't fill out a 4473 when they picked up a suppressor before.
That is odd as we fill out a 4473 for suppressors here.
Would think that's a Fed not a State thing
But I'm no expert either.

Too much gray for me.
I like to have something in official writing instead of "well, he/she said"
I did document the call with name number date etc. but that's the best I got.

Influx of new related scammer accounts?

They’re posting in new member section as well.

The interesting thing I see though is the scammer are creating the account in batches like this, padding feedback and post stats, and then changing usernames to mimic posts when they try to intercept a deal.
