About 18years ago, I sat on a Grand Jury listening to case about a local Police officer who was shot and killed chasing a armed robbery suspect. The suspect shot at the officer, hitting him on the top of his protective vest. The bullet deflected up, entering the neck.
Those were some disturbing pictures.

The FBI rank and file (mostly) hate Antifa. Their bosses tend to be much more political and left-aligned. (Why is this always the case, even in most PD and Sheriff's Offices? Something about having a lack of moral backbone and groveling for the leftist politicians, I think.)

If you survey the political inclinations of local LE vs the FBI, and then FBI ASAC and SACs, and finally the complete rot that is in the DC FBI office, I think we'd be shocked to see how far left the FBI HQ is compared to the ordinary agent in Nebraska. Not to mention that all the lefty FBI agents want to live and work in the major lefty metros anyway, like SFO, LA, Seattle, NYC, D.C., Chicago, Boston, etc., while the ones willing to work rural areas and live there are the type comfortable outside of the deep-blue bubble.

Up once again.

Almost always for sub-gauge guns, I would prefer longer barrels. I have two 28ga shotguns that are my go to upland shotguns, one O/U and one SxS both are 28" barrels. That is all that they were offered in, I would have gotten them both in 30" had that been an option. You lose so much weight in the barrel compared 12ga that 30" barrels really smooth out how a sub-gauge shotgun swings. The one gentleman mentioned woodcock, if you will be hunting in that type of habitat, shorter may be better. But if you will be chasing pheasant or quail in typical upland habitat, my recommendation is 30". And as stated before, gun fit trumps all else with smoothbores!
