I am interested in the .277 Fury chambering in a LFAR, more then the SIG aspect.

80K is a heck of a PSI for a LFAR. I understand about the case design being stronger. I'd like to see what SIG did to the gas system to allow it to function.

I noticed the 3 gas ports on the carrier, but If memory serves me that didn't amount to much when comparing a Armalite v. DPMS bolt carrier in 6.5CM or .308.

Anyone know what the port pressure / gas pressure curve looks like for the .277 Fury ?

Is the bolt "harder" / stronger ?

Heck, why didn't the US consider a LFAR over the SIG Spear Fury ? ... if the "LFAR can handle it"

I run 97gr of Retumbo under a 180gr Accubond at 3370fps for Moose.
That’s a lot of gun for deer IMHO.

Which would you consider a better optic for hunting, the minox zp5 3-15 mr5 or the zco 4-20 mpct1x. currently running a carbon Springfield 2020 waypoint with a nx8 2.5-10 so would like to keep it light enough for hunting.

Other than for bench use I'd have thought the PRS version was on the shorter side of things.
