First new vehicle I bought was an 87 Toyota PU. Base model, 22R engine, 4 speed, got 32 mpg. Drove it 375K miles, including a trip to Costa Rica. Started everytime I turned the key. Solid white, I named her Blanca. I only sold it because I lived in south Texas and wanted AC. Wish I still had it, a true classic. He is good. And yeah, bring these back! I always thought they the Subaru Brat from the ‘80’s was one of the best designs for a little pickup/runabout. Small, 4x4, good mpg. Won’t take a 4x8 plywood…. But good for a lot of stuff.
I miss my 1984 Ford Ranger long bed manual. Pi to engine. 2wd. But what a great little truck!!!
Cheers. Sirhr
The faggotry from many here is awesome.
From the usual sources and a couple new ones!!
OP @TurdFerguson
Origins are great actions. I own 3. i would look at SA vs medium just for more stock options.
Unless you really want the HS, I would look at other classic style stocks for better durability. That said, I still have 2 HS stocked rifles in the safe. One a 700p that shoots lights out with, gasp, a Timney, and a cleaned up AAC variant 16.5” to keep it cheaper, light, and handy. Both work fine. Never has an issue, and caution with heat (cars, trucks, etc in the heat of summer)
IF I was going to the cost of the other components, I would get a higher end shouldered barrel. PVA one I had was easy to load for and shot well.
Premium blank Bartlein/Kreiger,Brux etc Prefit from Ern or Fritz would be my top choice.
I have both TT and Timney triggers and they are both good.
People who whine about them probably complain about having 5 slices of bacon at breakfast instead of 4.
There is a personal reason I have a 700p with a 3.5-10x on it.
Who care what anyone else thinks?
(I hammer steel to 800+ with it regularly with “gasp” a sfp scope….) and fgmm no less!
Now, Im off in my Subaru to eat 5 pieces of bacon while wearing Birkenstocks and carrying a G19 and 2 spare mags concealed
The heck with what anyone thinks!!
Let us know when you are able to type.Yeah they might actually be able th hir what threy're aiming at...a house.![]()
Yeah they might actually be able to hit what threy're aiming at...a house.Surprised the cops didn’t return fire.
I think what Gunfighter is alluding to is the fact that having none of your future work’s effort pleased to someone allows you more choices, primarily the ability to say no. Indentured servitude typically doesn’t allow that range of choices without serious consequences. The same reason some people who live like this have so much debt.
Some enjoying life quite fine.

What exactly are these Glock videos trying to prove?
A lot of what bipod one chooses comes down to feel, not just Swiss-army knife capability IMO. A Harris BRMS is just easy and you’ll never regret having one in your pack.
With a 20+lb gun you don’t have to load them and can just let the gun sit there, and I dig that.
The fancier bipods are made out of better shit and do more tricks, but they all have a little slop/play to them as a consequence, so you’ve got to load them to get rid of it, and IMO for most situations that’s a little harder.
Different tools for different fools lol.
