Accessories Spuhr SP-5002 & SP-4003B

I have two Spuhr mounts I don’t need. The 4003B is nice if you have scopes with a big central housing like the USO ER25.

Neither have the box but I think I might have a wedge that I can include with the first one that sells if you need it.

1) SP-5002 0 MOA cant, 35mm, 1.5” height - $310 shipped

2) SP-4003B 0 MOA cant, 34mm, 1.5” height - $310 shipped - SPF

This might make for an interesting discussion... I want to talk about minor league hockey jersey's and their prices.

I've shared it here before but my local team is the Hershey Bears for the AHL. They performed spectacularly poorly during playoffs the past season (of course by no small measure because I had finally purchased season tickets for them) as they went after the Caulder Cup for the 3rd time in a row. Spoiler alert- they didn't pull it off and if I'm being honest didn't necessarily even come close to pulling it off either.

That said- when you have a team that had two championships back to back, it likely isn't unreasonable to expect the prices of their memorabilia/apparel to rise equal to the demand. Whelp- as another spoiler alert, the prices never went "down" after they were knocked out of the playoff's either.

So now that we're all caught up I want to talk about the price of Hockey Jersey's & how things compare for your own local AHL team.

As I mentioned, I had season tickets and had alerts set for when "authentic" jerseys would come back in stock (both home & away colors) and they never did, even once, the entire season last year . But... I finally got notification from alerts I set over a year ago that the "authentic's" are back in stock.

Here's the prices I'm looking at: if I want an "authentic" Hershey Bears AHL jersey (regardless of color) it's $325. Period. IF I want to 'personalize' the jersey and add a name &/or number to it- it'd be an additional $70 so essentially $400 bucks. Frankly that seems outrageous to me.

Now I can lower my expectations and purchase a "replica" Bears jersey for "only" $160 but once again the $70 to add a name/number applies and that, while much more reasonable, also sound kinda wild for what's essentially a "big" t-shirt for over $200 there.

So rein me in here-is this just what things cost these days or is Hershey charging a "double/super" premium for their jerseys? Reckon I should add that season ticket holders generally do get 15% off apparel but interestingly enough Jerseys & customization is explicitly excluded.

What say you?

I don't suppose we have any Beretta Semiautomatic Shotgun gurus here do we?

Specifically looking for someone smarter on the Beretta 1301 Comp in particular...

Here's where I'm getting stuck today- I purchased two 1301 Comp 24's (sight unseen as it was an internet purchase) and was fully expecting that I'd need to purchase Beretta's bolt shroud kit to address the one major "flaw" of the design...

To illustrate what I thought I was going to need to purchase...

(it's that horseshoe looking plastic thing on the left): https://www.beretta.com/en-us/product/1301-bolt-shroud-kit-EU00074

"Problem" is that's not accurate to the part presently on the 1301 Comp's (at least the ones I acquired) and I have to believe I'm working with a Gen 2 design. This is what I'm seeing (again likely will only be evident if one is fairly familiar with Beretta designs)...

So... fairly different and I'm at a loss as to what I've got & what I need to do to get these competition ready.

Anyone better informed/more knowledgable on what I'm looking at as compared to what I expected to work with?

Thanks in advance.

Maggie’s Sad, my GE Americana died.

Sad to see it die, installed in 1964 and continuously ran until this week our GE Americana refrigerator stopped working
after over 60 years. Have not diagnosed what the issue is but I will probably try to repair it.
Compressor comes on but it does not cool.

Not ours but what a cool fridge.

Powder compacting when seating bullets.

I have two ARs in 300 HAM'R.

I've been loading up a few hundred 125 TNT with CFEBLK to fireform Starline cases for further reloading with the 130 Hot Cor. The fireforming adds a bit more room for powder.

Lots of comments on the Texas Hunting Forum 300 HAM'R thread about using drop tubes to get more powder in the cases without compacting the powder when seating the bullet.

What's the disadvantage of compacting while seating? Less uniform density in the powder column? Or is it something else.

Or is there really no disadvantage to compacting while seating?

Maggie’s VPN- if you have one, which did you select?

I know VPN are a huge money maker.

Easy to set up - monthly revenue stream

Many log and sell your data.

Many who claim they don't track you, have provided data under subpoenas- so they obviously track

Nord and surfshark have the same owners

ExpressVPN - owned by Kape Tech - previously distributed malware

Hola VPN uses your network to route others traffic. So illegal stuff can be routed via your network.

Maybe Proton's VPN is better???

Do you trust a VPN with your data more than your ISP?
