Selling a Geyger & Co. Berlin built Mauser sporting rifle in 9.3x62. This is a very high end 1935 sporting rifle custom built on a Mauser action and is not a run of the mill sporterized surplus rifle.
Geyger was a very high end prestigious builder in Germany and these rifles are highly regarded. The rifle is beautiful with metal work that is near perfect easily 95% condition and some dings in the stock probably 85% condition. The barrel is half octagon half round and has a nice rib and metal work. Has a double set trigger as well.
$2500 shipped gets it. This is in line with what two auction houses told me they could get me (or more) for the rifle if I send it in.
Payment via Zelle, USPS MO or certified check.
Will consider partial trades for the following:
- Barnes .375 270gr LRX bullets
- Forster 375 H&H dies
- Badger 306-06 (700 SA 20MOA 6-48) rail
- 300WM premium factory ammo. Either good stuff for a great price to just shoot and have brass, or a sample of a few different types of premium ammo.
- McMillan HTG in smear or forest (prefer smear) for 700 SA M24/M40 M5. I don’t care if it’s used but don’t want anything that’s been bedded.
- Ruger Guide Gun in 375 Ruger. Will consider other M77 models in 375 Ruger as well. If it has a good optic on it and you have ammo, dies, brass etc that could be negotiated as well.
- Winchester M70 CRF in 30-06. Looking for a nice and clean rifle. Preference to classic stainless or featherweight. Not interested in any push feeds. Something that shoots decent would be nice since great accuracy hasn’t been my experience with the M70’s I’ve owned.
- Ruger no1 RSI in 250 savage or 30-06.
