Firearms Remington produced Springfield 1903A3

Selling a very nice piece of American military history. I purchased it ~4 years ago from a private owner who was a relative of the soldier that the rifle belonged to during WW2. Its current configuration/shape is the same as it was when it was brought back from the war. I’m only selling because I have multiple of these rifles and was lucky enough to have just purchased an A4 sniper model, so just hoping to recoup some funds.

The overall condition of the rifle is very good. The stock is excellent, with no major defects in the wood and has a very prominent “RA-P” cartouche stamp on the left side.

The parkerized finish on the receiver is very good, with only slight signs of wear.

The bluing on the bolt/bolt parts, the barrel, and bayonet lug, is good-very good. Typically signs of light wear on the bolt and bolt handle. The muzzle end of the barrel, and crown, do have some slight-moderate fading of the blue, but is still evident.

All mechanical parts function as they should (the rear sights, the bolt, the magazine, and the trigger). The bore is very bright with no signs of pitting or rust. The rifling does show signs of use, but is still very evident. I have shot this rifle 2 or 3 times, and it shoots remarkably well for its age.

The serial number on the receiver dates its manufacture to June of 1943; which also suggests that the current stock is original to the receiver because of the cartouche stamp “RA-P”, indicating inspector Peterson of the Raritan Arsenal, who was the chief inspector from 1942-1946.

The barrel is stamped RA 8-44.

I’m sure I missed something, so please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Rifle Scopes Kahles or ZCO upgrade

Hello all, I have been using a Vortex Strike Eagle 5x25x56 the past two years with some great results out to 850. However, recently I have been practicing dialing in more at various distance, and it seems my scope tracking isn’t that great. Then of course the little things are beginning to irritate me. That said, I think I might be ready to appreciate an upgrade.

Kahles and ZCO both appear to have many positives. ZCO might have a slightly better customer service program in the states.

I’m leaning towards the k540i DLR, but that might just be overkill for me at this point. Not to mention that the k328i DLR is already in the wild.

ZCO 840 has a lower multiplier, I’m guessing that means that higher zoom will be clearer.

Anyway, I need some help trying to get a grip on expectations. For all with more experience than me, what would you do if you were at two years into long range with longest distance being 850 yards?

SOLD Model 7 action and Bottom Metal

Hey guys, looking to sell this Model Seven action and bottom metal mag box follower and spring to someone. I had been planning on building a rifle on it. LRI blueprinted the action pinned the lug and blew the rear guard screw out to 1/4-28 for me. They also trued the bolt opened the bolt face to .473 and installed the M16 extractor. Asking $1000obo for everything in the pictures… besides the rug shipped to your FFL. My loss is your gain. Pretty motivated to sell so make an offer.

For 1300 I’ll throw in the wood stock I got for it.

Optics Vortex Razor HD AMG 6-24x50 MOA

Selling my Vortex AMG in MOA. I would describe it as good condition and the lenses are pristine. It shows signs of typical wear (faint ring marks, etc) but it did just get back from Vortex HQ for a deep cleaning. Comes with everything that came in the original box except for the Objective flip cap. Not a clue where that thing went.
