This is a like-new, one-owner Ed Brown EVO KC9-LW with only 10 rounds fired through it since it was purchased new recently. Also included is a rough-out Ed Brown IWM holster.

The gun is a work of art. I bought it for my daughter, and she fell in love with a Kimber.

  • IRay RH25V2
  • P365 Legion if low round count and mint
  • Impact Precision Actions (new or very low round count and mint)

Accessories Field Optics Research Hunter Carbon Tripod

Brand new in box never used.

$500 OBO

The Hunter 32DTC3 ASFPL/s Tripod System is an entirely new class of tripod design. The patent pending design by Field Optics was created with the primary purpose of creating the lightest and strongest hunting & Shooting tripod ever invented. And we did... The Hunter 32DTC3 is only 3.95 lbs, 57" tall with a pack dia of 3.4".

The design is similar to a BowlTop style tripod but with a DomeTOP, the tension handle is above the tripod frame rather than below the frame, in-between the legs. This provides greater access to the tension handle and far superior ergonomic control, especially in a dynamic-moving target situation.

The system has +/- 30 deg of pitch and 360+ deg of pan. It comes standard with an Arca Swiss F-Picatinny Lever Clamp head assembly and utilizes the FORI Band Clamp System. Due to its modular design, the ASFPL can be replaced by any standard tripod head via the 1/4-20 x 3/8-16 stud adapter. The tripod legs consist of 3 segment twist lock removable legs, 32mm dia carbon fiber material.

Steiner T6Xi 5-30x56 arrives...

Howdy all...

Just a quick personal shout out to this scope, will update after it's mounted/zeroed and used at the range. I didn't see many (enough) reviews about it yet out there (although there are some). I did find one excellent (but short) review as a comparison between it, the NF Atacr 5-25 and the Schmidt and Bender PMII 5-25 on Precision-rifle.com. These were the other two scopes I considered prior to purchase as well, found the review after I purchased the Steiner.

Just thought I'd add my own thoughts to the relatively shallow pool of info out there on this magnificent scope simply because I think it represents such a great value and comes very close to the "Gucci" gear from SB, ZCO, and NF and in some minor ways even surpasses on specs or features. Time will tell the full story with real life usage of course, but its rep so far is high up there.

Personal preferences and boxes checked for this scope are/were as follows (in no particular order):

  • Made in USA
  • High-end proprietary German glass (more here), not as good as SM perhaps but splitting hairs otherwise
  • Reticle options (MSR2-mil and SCR2-mil), I chose SCR2-mil for this scope, likely will get the MSR2 on my next
  • Illuminated reticle (will hardly use it but nice to have it)
  • Flat black finish (as opposed to semi-gloss or other odd colors)
  • 34mm tube
  • 6x 5-30x range
  • Robust construction (not Atacr good, but close...military/police use grade good)
  • Overall fit and finish
  • Feel/sound of turret clicks
  • Accurate tracking
  • Locking ring on the diopter
  • Low profile turrets
  • 25 meter and up parallax adjustment
  • Wide f.o.v
  • Clever "Never-lost" elevation/windage turrets (windows start 1-10 auto-switch to 11 and up after second rotation)
  • Simple clean turret locking system (low profile rotation vs. pop-up/down design)
  • Included 3" sunshade, Tenebraex caps, and throw lever (roughly $125.00 of freebies normally not included)
  • Excellent reputation amongst owners and proven in Military/Police forces
  • High level bang for the buck factor
  • Slightly lighter than the SM PMII/Atacr at 34oz

I just felt that if you want better you're going to really have to pay quite a bit to inch out a bit more performance in any one of those items I listed. I bought this scope to mount on my 22" steel barrel Christensen Arms MPR 6.5 and plan on doing range and maybe some comp shooting in the future. I'm mounting it with the ARC M-Brace, may switch to a Spuhr unimount in the future, we'll see.

Overall I wanted to share the opinion that I think it's on an extremely short list of scopes to consider if you want the highest performance for the dollar without breaking the 3K or more barrier. So far it just seems like a simple, clean, no nonsense, well packaged scope that is easy to use and doesn't leaving you hanging on features or better yet, performance and durability. The freebies and warranty are icing on the cake.

Accessories AICS 1.5 R700 SA Chassis

Clean Accuracy International 1.5 legacy stock for Rem 700 SA, purchased new by me and lived its life as a .223 mainly shot by my wife and kids from the bench. Only blems are a bit of paint rub where the action meets the chassis and the faint outline of a sticker that my kid had put on the right side panel (see pics, first pic is when I took the sticker off, second pic is after a quick wipe with Dawn dish soap, had to take a pic in full sun to see it, should be fully gone with some elbow grease). Also included are 2 new in the package 10 round AI polymer 223 mags, 1 lightly used metal Accurate 10 round 223 mags, a lightly used 10 round AI 308 mag (might have used this mag once in another rifle), spigot, Atlas bipod (pic mount), 3 cheek piece spacers, and a Sawtooth rail.

Selling to fund a new scope, only trades I’d really be interested in is a 6-36 SB, ZCO 5-27, or TT 5-25 in mils (plus cash on my end)

Cash price $2000, plus shipping/insurance. If you need more pics let me know

Leofoto tripod for NRL

Good afternoon everyone. Recently shot the Sooner State Safari match and figured out some things I need to do differently for time management and deployment. My tripod ( a bog) is just not up to the job. Broke a tripod leg during a stage.

Picked up a cert for Leofoto and am just curious what others are using and what my best option would be from them. I appreciate input on tripods but am looking for a Leofoto since I have a cert and am poor. If you were shopping for one like me, what sounds good and why?

Also, a good recommendation for a tax table, plate bag and again what and why?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I may be a bbq guy at heart, but...

Sometimes stepping outside the box is a fun challenge. Tonight's dinner. Sesame-crusted ahi tuna tostadas on a bed of spring greens tossed in a verde balsamic dressing. Tostadas are topped with a purple cabbage slaw, cotija cheese, a creamy avocado-verde sauce I made, and of course, the tuna. Flanked by a tequila sunrise.
