One of the most interesting aspects of Op Midnight Hammer is that both Russian and Chinese Satellite/HUMINT failed to detect the launch and approach of our attack. You can have high certainty that if detected, both China and Russia would have informed the Iranians. They would do this so they could observe the effectiveness of their air defense systems that they have sold to the Iranians in use against our aircraft. I also wonder how many Israeli/US assets were on the site for LTD/Beacon/BDA missions.

I received my FX Ballistics Chronograph on Saturday and finally got a chance to shoot over it a little bit Monday afternoon. I am in the middle of testing some 40g Slugs to swap to over my 34g slugs. And have an easy tune to swap between as well. The first picture is my 34g and the other 3 are my 3 different 40g slugs. This radar is amazing!!! All I have done at this point in testing is shoot with my 34g tune. The groups are just outside 1" at 50y for the 40s. My 34s are right at 1/2" at 50y. More to come as I get more testing with this radar system.

Anyone know how “lethal” the pcp air rifles are? I was looking at getting a .22 fx pantera to shoot pellets out of , not slugs, but I don’t know how much less lethal these things will be than a regular .22 rimfire. I can shoot a shotgun if I need to at critters getting after the chickens as long as it’s not up in the air to give an idea about how far away neighbors are. I don’t have a good enough back stop to shoot a regular .22 in my opinion, but I’m probably being overly cautious and I could build up a bit of a berm if I thought the .22 PCP rifles were safe, but I don’t know enough about them. I know they’re not the pellet guns I grew up with.

I am new to the air rifle world so forgive me my ignorance. But I’m looking to purchase a long range air rifle (if that’s even a thing) and am wanting a caliber .25- or larger. Want it for coyote and possibly deer hunting. Also what’s the difference between the projectiles compared to regular guns? Thank you

I wanted to try my first attempt at “bumping the shoulder” back ~0.002” when resizing fired brass rather than using the standard die instructions to size for the minimum chamber spec.

This would typically result in a longer case bottom-shoulder dimension than factory ammo by not pushing the shoulder back quite as far.

Those of you that have done this, how do you handle trimming cases? If I were to trim to the case trim length on the print, I would have a shorter neck since the shoulder is out farther. Are you guys keeping your brass just under max length and calling that good?

Well this was buried in Sig releases today. Uses the same engine and laser from the Kilo 10k with AB Elite on board. Only down side I see is the Bluetooth remote.




Something interesting, looks like it can be pair with Sig new Bravo6T-BDX line of scope that has a built in display. This would allow you to range and hold over without coming off scope.
