Folks, I’m assembling an AR-15 conversion for .22LR competition out to 400+ yards. I’m seeking suggestions for a 34mm offset scope mount with 40-55MOA of built in tilt, possibly a diving board top, and would prefer something robust with as few parts as possible to reduce failure.

** edit to be clear. This is not a Tac-Ops rifle as made by Tactical Operations. It is in the style of some of their models of rifle based on the components. I am not trying to misrepresent anything, this is just not my area of expertise.

This is an early (2009) Snowy Mountain Rifles Tac-ops style 308 Winchester. Action is a rem 700 footprint, stock is a McMillan, comes with two, single stack metal mags. Stock is not inlet for M5 bottom metal. Barrel is 24”. Muzzle brake is removable. Rifle was stored in a humidity-controlled gun room.

Rifle was built for friend’s dad who was a Doctor by day, but volunteered for the local SWAT team. Less than 200 rounds fired.

$1,500 FFL to FFL. Open to multiple payment methods, but funds need to be in-hand prior to shipping.

Group photo is 10 rounds of factory Berger 185 jugs. Orange sticky is 1.5”.

$1500 This is a copy of the Colt 607 which was the forerunner of the CAR-15, Colt Commando, and XM177 carbines. The Colt 607 features the first version of the collapsible butt stock with 3 positions. This gun features the correct slick side upper AND lower, the early charging handle, a shortened pistol grip (original Vietnam era surplus grip), and flat barrel ring. This gun has the next generation XM177E2 flash hider and grenade ring. Some 607's were retro-fitted with this flash hider as the original 607 moderator was found to be unsatisfactory. The flash hider is pinned and welded to the barrel for an overall length of 16.5 inches. The barrel is 1:7 and chrome lined. Finished in my proprietary "Colt Gray" CeraKote. Up for trade is this unused Radian Model 1 15.5” Upper & Handguard Set. (While it is in new condition and has never been built or mounted on a lower, there are a few small marks from handling over time/mounting an optic once, which I’ve tried to show in the pics. You’ll get worse your first range trip).

2.) Barreled Action is a Defiance Tenacity with integral recoil lug badged for Nomad Precision. It has a 26" Criterion Barrel 1-8 Twist chambered in 6.5 in Creedmoor on the Remage style. Barrel is MTU profile. Barrel has a total of 560 rounds through it and can supply all load data. Rifle shoots clover leaves all day long. For the BA less trigger - $1075. For the action alone $825. For the barrel alone $250. The BA with TT Special trigger, $1200.
