Has anyone bought a barrel from them. He's only a hour from me in OKC.

I know BARTLEIN but Im not and wont ever be a pro, would just like to improve on my stock Remington barrel, and lengthen it.

How much will any quality barrel improve accuracy over stock, and how much will a Bart improve it over most anything else?

What else should I know before spending $$$?

hey everyone, this is my first post on the forum and I hope some of these questions aren't too basic. I just ordered a HOWA APC M1500 and I'm clear to pick it up on Thursday. The rifle comes with no scope or mount. I haven't had the gun in my hand but it appears to me ill need a picatinny rail, scope mounts, a scope and a bi-pod to get started. as far as the picatinny rail goes...is a Outerimpact 20 MOA rail any good? after that im looking at Nikon glass. if anyone has some good ideas I'm all ears. what's the general consensus on Caldwell bi pods? if they're no good can anyone point me in the way of something introductory? thanks in advance for your time. 29” blank .243/.237 7.5 twist blank from Geissele. Doesn’t say the exact contour but I measured it at 1.26” for the first 5” then tapering down to 0.900” at 29”, weighs 7# 7.5 oz which matches up with what a HV is (see below).

I wound up with an extra McMillan stock that’s inlet for a 700 short action, sendero barrel and M5 bottom metal. So I started to think that since I live in a straight wall cartridge area I could use it for a 350 legend build using a Terminus Zeus QC action. I thought I could get a pre fit 350 barrel and a 223 barrel to do some cheap plinking. I can’t find a lot of info on a set up like this so does anyone see a problem with this combo? Will a 350 feed from AICS mags for 223 or would it need different followers?

I’m hoping to attend my first DMR class in the coming months. I’ve had training in my prior LE career, but there was a hard line… no engagement outside of 100 yards.. so basically useless. I have several nice systems, but it appears than DMR = semi auto. Looks like most classes top out at 600-700 yards.
The first two that came to mind are my recently built 6.5 Grendel’s.
18” with NightForce NX8 2.5-20x with Geissele SDE
13.9” with Steiner T6XI 2.5-15x with Geissele SDE
Both are using Craddock RTR barrels. The 18” was sub MOA with Precision Firearms 120 Scenar L right from the start. Havent shot the 13.9” yet but will be starting load development for both shortly.
I then forgot that I also have a 16” SCAR barrel with KNS DiSCARder and KDG rail in addition to the 13” that’s stays on it. The 13” has a Trijicon Credo 1-8. I have no optic for the 16” barrel. All load development has been for 125 Controlled Chaos from the 13” barrel so I’d need to load some 169SMKs and see how they do. The SCAR has a Geissele Super Scar trigger.
Which system would you go with? If the 16” SCAR, what optic? I prefer NightForce, Steiner, and Trijicon.
I’ll pick up a Kestrel and probably the Leica laser rangefinder.

Thoughts from those with experience is greatly appreciated.
