I just bought a new AR pistol in .300B from a local dealer.

I was hesitant because I've never heard of these guys, but went for it because everything looked nice, and they are local to me.

Anyone ever hear or have dealings with them? How do they compare in quality with other manufacturers? I don't know much about ARs, I have an AK, and an M14 variant.

I didn't get a spec sheet with it, but the dealer said that they use the same materials for all their products

Is a certain R series better. First or second focal plane.

Main use would be 3-500yards out to maybe 7-800.

So I just took my CZ 600 Range home today, very happy with it so far. And got my Vortex Venom 5-25x56 MRAD scope in today as well. The rifle has an adjustable comb cheek riser. With a 56mm objective lens, how do I know if medium height scope rings will be tall enough? I haven't ordered any yet due to wondering about this. I assume if I mount Remington 700 style rings straight to the receiver I'll need taller ones than if I mount a picatinny rail rail, and then the scope to the rail as that will lift the scope higher and give more clearance for the bell/objective to clear.

Just wanted to check before I ordered if there's a way to measure things out (I have calipers) or if there's some general rule of thumb? I know I don't want the thing way up in the air higher than need be. (I probably will put it on a rail)

I couldn't find a consistent use for this rifle, and after 12 years of sitting in the safe, it's time to move on to another project. Rifle has marks and light blemishes consistent with handling.

I get that I'm in the minority here, but I just learned that Vudoo stopped making left-handed 360s because it wasn't cost-effective, which makes total sense. Now I need to switch things up. I've got a B14R right now, and I could just stick with it, or maybe I should consider getting a RimX or even grab another B14R and customize the barrel. What a bummer.

Been using a Lyman Gen5 powder dispenser for about 8 years. Today had it setup and calibrated, double checked with my balance beams. Was running spot on. Then it started throwing heavy and I mean heavy. Cannot get it to calibrate. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

Recently picked up a Compass Lake match rifle from the early 2000s that I believe to be unfired outside of factory test firing.

Pulled the Jewel trigger

So I have been loading ammo for 30 years, mostly pistol. I can get my better rifles to shoot in the .6-.7" for 5 shots. Sometimes I hit the .5-.4" range but not common. I use standard hornady or RCBS dies, factory brass like federal or hornady. I use hornady and Sierra bullets, I weighed my charges and trimmed brass. Hand prime each case. I have a magneto speed chrono. I just started to adjust my dies to a .003" shoulder bump. My ES are not great but I can manage 6" groups at 600 fairly consistently and 1-1.5" @ 200 is common. I have a full custom rifle on the way, top of the line MPA with razor G2 4x27 so the rifle should not be a factor.
What would make the greatest difference in lowering SD/ES and reducing group size trying to get in the .3" consistently? Buy an annealer and annealing brass each time? Using better components like Berger bullets and alpha brass? Use a inline seating die like a Wilson with Arbor press? Install an EC tuner brake? Or something else? Obviously all the above, but it has taken me 7 years of saving and trading to purchase a rig as nice as the one that is coming. I can only make do one step at a time. Looking for the best bang for the buck. Thanks to all who helped me with $3k budget build. The MPA is cheaper and better than what I could have put together myself.

Tl;dr: Every time I shoot my Tavor, even supported prone, the POA vs POI changes each day, despite never touching the turrets.

Long version:
Set up a x95 with PA 3x micro prism. Shooting 2-3moa and doing great.

Doing a gun run, last stage I was locked on, great position and couldn’t get a single hit on a ipsc torso at 100yards.

Got home, accuracy seemed random, then I found that the rail screws had backed out and the rail was flopping around. Tightened them down gently, and set it aside for 6months.

Another gun run coming and I break it out, first day I hand to hold under to hit at 100. Second day put it on paper and it was 8moa at best.

Third day, tested four loads (including the same load as the last 3 times) and it was grouping 2-3moa with each load, but every load was 4 inches low.

Today, attempt to rezero the micro prism and all shots completely off of a 16” cardboard. After holding high, low, left or right and not getting on paper I couldn’t handle it and walked away before I smashed it with a sledge.

All this time, I have not touched anything since tightening the rail. I haven’t touched the reticle adjustments. Nothing has changed and each day the POI has no relation to the day before and I am completely at a loss on what the hell could be going on.
