Three kids shot in houston.

For trying to rob a guy at gunpoint. To his credit, the victim got three of them. They played an adult game and paid and adult price. Hopefully they don't go after the guy for defending himself. He probably feels bad enough as it is.

Entry Level Build after CDG Price Bump

Been out of the loop for a while after I sold my Curtis, and I know "search is my friend" but none of the starter/entry build threads were after the ARC CDG increased in price. If it was still the old price I would 100% get the CDG for $899, but now that it's almost the price of a TL3 does that change opinions on the go-to entry starter action?

Sounds like major contenders for this entry price point (R700 footprint) are still Origin, Solus, ARC Nucleus, any others I'm forgetting? Any thoughts?

SOLD Vudoo 360 1.20 bartlein *sold*

Thinking about parting ways with my spare vudoo 360.
I can sell this any way you'd like but this is how it sits right now. *Scope not for sale*

-Vudoo 360 22" bartlein 1.20 straight with ec tuner (not threaded 5/8-24 it's threaded directly for the tuner) if I had to guess it has 2-3000 rounds on it. 2 vudoo mags with dope followers and one brand new vudoo mag
-Bix n Andy trigger
-Mdt acc elite chassis (I'll be keeping the accessories off of the chassis) also have a foundation centurion I could put on it as well.

Was used for nrl so it does have some wear marks but nothing that effects it in any way. Now it just rides around in my case and gets used as a loaner every now and then.

2000 for barreled action
2250 for ba with trigger
3250 for drop your scope on and go.
Most forms of payment accepted I'm pretty easy to work with.

****Sold****

Problem posting pictures

When I go to attach a photo to a post, it shows the image name, but not the image. When you click on the image, it just takes you back to the top of the thread. There's also no option to "insert" either as a thumbnail or full image.

I've contacted support, but wondered if anyone has a quick fix. One month old MacBook Pro M4Pro. Cleared cache, restarted, logged out and back in. Anyone have advice?

REM 700 243 rechamber

Fellas. Came across a great deal on a used Remington 700 BDL 243. It’s already heading to the smith to get threaded for my suppressor. And, I want to rechamber it. Question being, what can I realistically change to with a 1-9 1/4 twist barrel? I don’t want to buy a new barrel. Want this to be a cheap, light weight truck coyote/maybe deer rifle. And yes I know, the 243 would do a fine job. But I have a couple already and I want to play with something else. I have a large amount of H4350, H4831sc, Stabll 6.5, Superformance, 8208xbr and RL16. So, 243 AI? 6mm GT? XC? x47 Lapua? What’s my best choice for running 60-90 grain bullets with that twist? Thanks!!

Rifle Scopes 35mm scope level?

Which scope level

  • Flatline Ops--Patriot plus $140

  • Flatline Ops--Patriot plus $180

  • wait for accuracy 1st to make a 35mm level

  • rail mounted level

  • hot glue gun a Home Depot level to the scope and forget about it

Trying to decide between scope levels. I think either would get the job done. Is the ability to flip to the side a big deal?

$180-- Flatline Ops Alpha-35mm https://flatlineops.com/products/levels/alpha-35mm

Rifle Scopes optic choice for 20" hbar gas gun

Another which optic for my precision gas gun thread... building a new rifle with a 20" Krieger hbar so should be a hammer. Main use will be targets out to max 800, DMR type matches, field shooting, maybe some deer hunting, etc. Will have an offset red dot for close in/night work. Currently have 3 optics that I'm going to try on it to figure out which one to use: Razor G3 1-10, PST G2 2-10, Razor LHT 4.5-22 ffp. As an aside, one of my all time favourite gas gun optics is the Bushy LRTSi 3-12, I have one on a 6.5 gasser and it's great but they are hard to come by these days. I also had a NX8 2.5-20F1 mil-xt and quite liked it. I run Razor G3 6-36s on my bolt guns but they're boat anchors so out of consideration here.

Although I think the 1-10 is a pretty ideal optic on a general purpose 16" rifle, I don't think it's what I'll end up running here as it's not ideal on 10x (very usable but obviously not optimized for that) and I'll have an offset dot for close-in use. I like to have the option to dial for longer engagements or smaller targets and the 1-10 isn't great for that with the capped turrets and relatively large center dot.

I currently have the PST 2-10 on an 18" .223 with a factory barrel that is decently accurate (1.5 moa 10rnd groups) but not a precision rig. I quite like this optic and have had no issues engaging my field targets (not great backstops, not high contrast so harder to resolve, etc) out to 700 yds and have been successful at times with it out to 830 but that's a push given the target is the same size as the rifle's ability to group and depending on the day it can be quite hard to spot splash. I'm not a huge fan of the reticle and wish that the windage, at a minimum was capped or locking but I can also live with them as is.

The Razor LHT is kind of a wild card in that it's more of a "precision" optic than I'd normally think of putting on a gas gun (that is more of a "field" gun and not a strictly target rig). I have one on my NRL Hunter/hunting rig and think it's possibly the best crossover tactical/hunting optic out there but always figured it as too much scope for a .223 gas gun. It's only when I started comparing specs that I realized it's only 3/4" longer than the PST 2-10, is 4.5oz lighter, has a much better reticle, locking elevation and capped windage. I guess the question is, unless I decide I like the 1-10 in this application, would I be crazy to use the LHT instead of the PST 2-10? Other than price I just don't really see a downside for my intended use.

Optics 36mm 1.26” RRS Uniblock mount

I have a few of these and looking to sell 1, maybe 2. One of the nicest mounts made in my opinion. Spring loaded rail clamp, and excellent machining with no sharp edges. A very sleek design. This mount is 36mm for those sweet ZCO scopes, and 1.26” high, 20 MOA.

All screws are T15 Torx.

Excellent shape, photo showing some glare and dust.

Reasonable cash offers considered--Let's make a deal!

Thanks for looking!
