I was offered a trade for a rifle I’ve been searching for for awhile. This packing includes a NF beast MOAR 5-25 with Sphur Mount like new. Are these still desired scopes? What is the value of them?
I don’t shoot moa and not sure of desirability/value of moa stuff these days.

I'm new to reloading and I've found it can be loads (pun intended) of fun and the most frustrating thing ever. I'm trying to work up loads for my Seekins PH2 6.5 Creedmoor for NRL Hunter matches. I'm using 3 times fired Hornady brass (140 ELDM Match boxes originally). Using Hornady FL Custom Grade dies, sizing the cases first, and then installing the expander mandrel to open the necks. I have Federal Match LRP primers and I'm using H4350.

First I worked up 50 rounds, 5 rounds each from 40.1 to 41.0. At 40.2 (8.2 ES and 3.3 SD) and 40.3 (11.4 ES and 3.9 SD) I had very good ES and SD, and the groups were not bad, about 1 MOA. For the 40.2 I had an average of 2673.7 FPS and a min/max of 2669.5/2677.7 and for the 40.3 I had an average of 2682.6 FPS and Min/Max of 2677.6/2689.0

All rounds are chrono'd using a Garmin Xero by the way

So I went back and worked up 50 more rounds, 10 with the exact same seating and 40.2 gn, and then played with the seating .020" front and back of the original seating depth (COAL was 2.800 on my first load rounds) to dial in some accuracy. What I got was an absolute mess and makes me want to go back to buying boxes lol.

The first 5 rounds, which were supposed to be identical to the rounds that shot an ES and SD of 8.2 and 3.3, now gave me a ES of 39.0 and SD of 14.0! Okay I thought that was a fluke of some sort, so I did the next 5 rounds which were also identical charge and seating depth to the 8.2/3.3 rounds and this time I got SD of 26.7, ES of 10.2. This continued to through the entire 50 rounds of 40.2 and 40.3, ES's in the high 20's or 30's, SD's in the teens. And then, all of a sudden, I got a load of 40.3, CBTO of 2.172 at ES of 9.2 and SD of 3.2. Every other load with the exact same powder charge was all over the map.

Any suggestions here, I'm at my wits end. Do I go back and do another ladder with the powder? The only thing that I can think that changed was it was about 10 degrees colder on the second day, and the brass had been shot one more time obviously.

I have had my kestrel for 2 years and haven’t done an update in a while. It’s a 5700 kestrel with Link running firmware rev 1.15. I am trying to update from an iPhone 11 through the “Kestrel LiNK Ballistics”. The app wants to update to rev 1.27 which is a big jump. I am hoping I’m not too far out of date to get this done. Below are two screen shots of the messages I receive. The first is to acknowledge the update need, and the second is the error I get. When I watch the kestrel I see the Bluetooth sign or watch on setting and see it has a connected status. Until about 5% and retrieving gun profiles, it loses connection.
I haven’t seen any discussions around this. Please send help!

Been thinking of a bolt action in 6.5 Creedmore. Looking for something to have fun with and not take super precision too serious. I Have hog hunted with my AR-10 a few times and it works okay, been thinking of selling my AR-10 for a bolt action 6.5 Creedmore to use for hunting as well. I also have membership to a range with a 1000 yards.

Any insight with the Savage 110's? Also been thinking of a Aero Solus , but I'm a little hesitant given there is not much feed back on these rifles.

Does anyone know how range maximum energy limits are calculated?

I'm templating a new range ATM but there's nothing in the pam regards limits. For example our normal range is 8mm max calibre and 3319 ft lbs. No one knows how that number was arrived at.

Anyone know what the math is?

I have read that bergara has lousy costumer service, not true. I lost the trigger adjustment screw out of my B14 so I contacted them via email, got a reply in 2 days they don't have the screw so they are sending me a new trigger assembly. Now I call that damn good c s

Receiver was destroyed during re-barrel and I'm not sourcing a new one. This has never been shot, and is probably salvageable into a very nice, short .308 or 300 BLK barrel. Was built from a Krieger cut rifled 1-11 .30 blank. Asking 220, shipping is free. All dimensions included in photo below.

So looking at what to do with nearly new REM 700 barreled action ( bad barrel ) and a brand new 22 center fire CRB comp barrel. I have a new 223 rem long free just put together. I also have a 6 Creedmoor bolt gun. Looking for suggestions on a fun ( read crazy accurate/crazy fast) 22 cal rifle. It will be a range gun out to maybe 1000 yards.
