375 SwissP information

Can someone please help me in explaining the benefits and strengths of 375swissP?

I currently have a DTSRS and an AXSR. Either one would be suitable hosts as both already have 300NM barrels.

Would the Swiss be better than 37XC?

I'd like to 375 as TBAC now has suppressors with this bore, and the 338 class bullets just don't offer enough gain over 300 class right now.

Thanks

Which Scope Mount for my M40 Project

I have most of all the parts I need to build an M40 clone:

6 digit 1967 donor rifle
beever165 stock
Bartlein barrel (on order)
Redfield 1st gen fine reticle scope

Just missing the Wichita sling loops

I have 2 scope mounts to choose from: Redfield Jr and Badger Ordnance reproduction M40
Which scope mount should I use?

Redfield Jr with the correct finish but has the rounded corners

Badger Ordnance reproduction with a parkerized finish

Or send out the Badger Ordnance to have it blued

Rifle Scopes Questions on older Kahles Helia L - 3-12x56

Anyone have instructions or info on this scope? Scope is 20-25+ years old. Photo is looking at the elevation adjustment, is the small screw at the edge of the center white a set screw to lock/unlock adjustment or a "fine" adjustment? Is the white tick mark in the black a "zero" point?
Any info is appreciated.

Magazine v. Accuracy

CBTO reloaded by me was always gauged on getting the tip of the bullet as close to the lands as possible without touching to reduce wobble. The measurement was found by taking 10 rounds of recently fired brass, loading to different CBTO lengths and loading, until a length that was the longest stayed the same length after ejection. Any that were too long would stick a bit and, contrary to thinking it would be shoved down shorter, it would come out longer due to the slight stick from being wedged against the lands. The downside has always been the cartridge will be too long for the magazine. This has been a big pain when shooting. I have run tests and found the longer cartridge to be a bit more accurate, but perhaps I was a bit biased and subconsciously skewed the results. Anybody have any comments or suggestions.

6.5 CM Brass - Alpha vs Starline

Hi all. I am just getting started in my PRS journey and starting to acquire what I need for reloading. I have an MPA Matrix Pro-II 6.5 CM. Do any of you use Starline brass? I am trying to get a sense of its quality vs Alpha. Starline is about half the price of Alpha from what I can tell. For those who have used it or currently use it I am also curious as to its durability and how many reloads I can expect to get out of it vs the Alpha.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

Need expert advice???

What Im looking at:

BCM 14.5" (or 16") middy or RRA elite tactical A4 middy
BCM gunfighter handle
Troy TRX battle rail (dont want rails where they arent needed)
possibly a noveske switchback for shooting with a can

Questions
Can a tube type handguard be used with a standard front site
BCM or RRA
Noveske's site says something about gas blocks with screws are now as good as pins, any info?

The other option i have is an Adams Arms upper Mid tactical elite piston upper, anyone have any experience with these?
