Is the 22-250 being replaced by the 22 creed permanently? Where is all the 22-250 brass?

After some painful inner discussions with myself (that's healthy right?) I've resigned to the fact that PRS just isn't for me. Too many surgeries, years, and cheeseburgers. So I'm going to list my PRS build that never went very far other than some limited load development and trips to the range. I tried to put together the ultimate package but have come to realize 'ultimate' is completely user dependent.

Never got around to trying Berger 105 Hybrids in this rifle because I could never find any (by the time some became available I had moved on to Benchrest)

Action: Impact 737R purchased rom CS Tactical (action is like glass)
Stock: Foundation Centurion with full lead weight kit (O ring style) this was cut specific for this action my John-Kyle when I ordered it. Dark Distressed in color. I replaced the cheek riser hex clamp with a star knob for easier adjustment in the field, I can swap it back if buyer prefers.
BM: Hawkins DBM with 1 x single stack mag with insert (feeds flawlessly).
Barrel: Brux Heavy Palma 29 1/2" spiral fluted (flutes have been cerekoted black) 1:7.5 TW no muzzle threads (it doesn't need a brake with the weight kit, the recoil is negligible) barrel was purchased, chambered, and fluted by Bugholes with my reamer. 453 documented rounds.
Trigger: Can be a Bix Tac Sport Pro or Triggertech Diamond, purchasers choice.

I'd like to keep it together at least for now. Will not sell the action without the barrel. Rifle will ship to your FFL from an individual.

Reamer is a .104 FB Alpha Munitions reamer that the purchaser has first dibs on, it has cut 1 barrel.

I have fired Alpha brass and BNIB Alpha 6 Dasher brass as well for the purchaser if interested.

Had a Bushnell XRS II on this rifle that could be added for additional $$ if the buyer has to have it.

Has anybody else had any real life experience with the 223/556 68 grain BTHP? I have been reloading these pills and they are moving 2750 fps and shoot 1/2 inch groups but when used hunting varmints they are very disappointing. I have taken 5 coyotes and 3 foxes over the weekend and every one of them have needed follow up shots to get the job done humanely. All first round hits have been in the vitals. I expected a lot better results with this bullet but I think I will go back to shooting soft points after this weekend.

I’m Josh. 58. Life long shooter. Retired, traveling in a motor home, shooting a lot.

Learned of NRL Hunter last spring and had to try it. Equipment selection was rushed. Research was minimal. Didn’t know what I didn’t know. Made it happen anyway. Been learning ever since and look forward to trying again soon.

Gun store had a Remington 700 .308 on sale. Picked it up a couple days before hitting the road on a 4 month trip to wherever. Shot it once. Visited a friend in Bishop. Couldn’t hit squat. Couldn’t easily find parts to convert to external magazine. Ordered a pos magpul hunter on Amazon, then hit the road toward Price, stopping at cableas fora trigger tech, a couple mags and some ammo. No 168 gn federal, so went with 175.

Spent two days in price working on my dope to 1000. First time shooting past 200. No chrono. Used ballistic data from the ammo box and got surprisingly close, but struggled past 600 yards. Recoil management was a foreign concept at that point and of course couldn’t see my misses.

Match day. Zero confidence in the rifle. First stage. Couldn’t find the targets. Bad deal. I was in over my head. Was still able to hit most of the targets I found, which was fun. RM helped me find and hit the 800 yard target. The rifle seemed to group well at that distance and elevation was right, so that’s progress.

Thought the community was super friendly and helpful. Aaron Martin was on the squad before me and offered great tips, and and snacks. Didn’t realize until hearing him on the MDS podcast weeks later that he’s kind of a big deal. Cool guy.

Have shot quite a bit since then. The rifle doesn’t group. It’s fine because the plan was to upgrade one piece at a time. Oryx is arriving tomorrow. Pretty much set on a 6.5 cm Criterion. That and an adequate backpack should get me there.

I have a Lefty Remington 700 223 that has been rebarreled with a heavy Palma, chambered with a 5.56 Reamer by a local gunsmith, sitting in a KRG BRAVO Stock for sale.

Used my trainer, at a PRS match at Red Brush, and as coyote rifle last winter. Painted with duracoat OD Green on the barreled action. Midwest Industries 0 MOA but I have a Talley MFG 20 MOA rail I’ll send with it also. Barrel was a 1-7t Proof Heavy Palma. Cut down to 18” and threaded 5/8-24 at the muzzle. Pretty sure it’s a TirggerTech Special straight but I’ll price it as the Primary in case I’m wrong. Sitting in a KRG Bravo stock that is relatively new as I had it in a Manners TCS prior. Comes with the KRG Arca Fore end and KRG NV Cap. I also added a Foam Cheek pad.

Not sure the round count on the action as I bought that used from gunbroker, but the barrel is sitting around 3k. 90% of that was shot with MK262 77gr but the rest was 88gr ELDMs and staball match.

This is, and continues to be one of my best shooting rifles. I’m always surprised on how well it shoots so then I take pics on Ballistic-X and send it to the group chat. Only reason I’m selling is I’m getting the same barrel done for my Orgin Action and trying to down size some of my platforms.
