I was recently lucky enough to win a pair of Zeiss Conquest HDX LRP 15x56 Binos with MRAD from Cameraland, anyone that has been on this site will be familiar with this great store.

I never have reviewed high end optics, nor have I owned any until now. So, coming from a limited background, this review will be short and to the point.

Hands down these are the best binos I have ever looked through. I currently own a pair of Vortex Fury and Leupold BX-4 Pro Guide HD 12x50 binos.

These Zeiss binos are exceptionally clear and sharp to my eyes and the color looks true to life. They blow my current binos out of the water. I wish I had an adapter to show how clear the glass is on these binos.

The reticle is the one option that none of my previous optics have. I have a Vortex Diamondback that I use for while shooting that works great but I have always lamented not having a reticle to help give corrections for misses. Now that I have these Zeiss binos I will be able to help give accurate spotting corrections. The reticle is "T" shaped and has 5 mils of elevation and 10 mils of windage.

There is a lever on the left tube to allow you to level the reticle no matter how much you open or close them. This will make them great for anyone to use. The focus is very smooth and precise. You can lock the diaopter rings which is nice so they don't move on you.

These binoculars feel tough and are listed as magnesium with full rubber armor. They are chunky boys coming in at about 45 oz, but I would take them hunting over my Diamondback Spotting scope. They are listed as waterproof, fog proof, and shockproof. They have removable eye cups which is nice if you want to clean them.

They come with a tripod adapter which is how they will be used the majority of time for. I shoot a long range varmint silhouette match and these will be getting used in an upcoming match at the end of June.

Beside the tripod adapter, they come with a case, straps, and lens covers.

The case is basic and I wish it came with a zipper compartment to store the tripod adapter and the tool that comes with it.

This stock arrived today and I no longer have a use for it. It’s new and for a Remington short action or clone. M5 bottom metal inlet, with a Bartlein 3b barrel channel inlet. It’s has 3 flush cups, an ARCA rail, and a 1” recoil pad. Lop is 13.5”.

No chassis. It will need bedded or sent in to have a chassis installed.

These chassis are basically a mini/lighter weight ACC Elite with multiple applications. Brought "the one" just to verify zero of my 20" Grendel, a Noveske build, all their parts, barrel, etc other than a Smoke Composite stock and grip. Topped with a Leupold VX-6 HD 3-18X, 50mm, and a Thunderbeast Ultra 7.

I usually shoot Hornady 123 SST, which routinely shoots sub MOA out of that gun. Today I grabbed some Underwood 110 gr as its just sitting on a shelf. They stopped making it in Grendel so I went into a conservation mindset, but realized - might as well burn through it over the next couple seasons.

1) POA/POI vs the SST - nearly identical at 100 yards.

2) I realized I'd grabbed a 4 rd mag - I usually shoot 5 - but at $3/rd, I'm doing a $12 experiment, let's see how much adjustment we need... results were enough to make me take a break and reflect on how much I wanted to do that again.

To be fair, my next group was at least... .5 - .6 MOA as I was chasing this dragon, but I think it is safe to say this was a personal best. I know it isn't a 10 round phenom, but I'll take it... with a little luck this is an unbeatable combo in the small frame.

Naturally, Noveske stopped making the Grendel barrels and Underwood no longer makes the ammo - but, as the saying goes - I got mine
