Here was my at-home vid. I got a bit of time behind it and the glass is better than I expected thus far. The turret design is one of the best out there...and at least it is a little bit lighter than the Gen 2

Sold the first to sodakhunter last month and this one is ready for a new home as its too much mag for son. Never been fired as it was only mounted then set rifle in tripod for son to practice getting on target in back yard.

MPA 1 piece 34mm 1.5” H , O MOA, with diving board. Used but in good shape. The screws that clamp to the pic rail are notorious for getting tore up. These not so bad but easy to get new ones if needed

I bought this chassis back in 2021 or 2022 and put a barrel action into it but never got around to actually shooting anything with it. Color is olive drab green. It comes with the really nice butt stock and a slightly larger grip. Inlet his left hand for Remington 700 short action. It is an excellent condition. Paid $1500 back when i bought it.

Basically asking - If you could get either the MPR or the Cross for a crazy good deal, what rifle would you choose and why?

The Cross will be coming out with the 6.5 PRC in a 24" barrel and i can either get that rifle or the MPR in 6.5 PRC. Both rifles will weigh about the same and both will end up costing me the same (with an industry connection). My intended use is pig/bear hunting at an average of 10-300 yds. I want a light foldable rifle for packing in. I like the PRC for when im in CO or ID packing in for Elk.

I currently shoot a 7mag for big game, 6.5 Grendel for deer, 300blk for pigs. I have a decent collection of rifles but no modern precision. I also have a buddy with a 3000 yd range and would like to at least be semi-competitive in shooting (that's why i want the PRC).

Hey. Been visiting this site for a while and decided to finally join. Great seeing all of the information that this site provides.

I wish I would have come here probably before buying my rifle but I dont think I made the worst decision I could have.

I have a Daniel Defense Delta 5 with the actual stock, not the wild frame looking one in 6.5 creedmore.

I was hoping to have it as a dual purpose "Long Range" 1000yd and hunting setup. I know there is always compromise when you try to have one thing do multiple things. My question is, I have been looking at scopes and want some input on really what would be something midrange for a optic.

I realize there are plenty of used optics on sale for here. I am hesitant to buy used optics off ebay or gunbroker. Is that a valid concern or you think I am crazy?

I was focusing on like a 5-25 setup and ffp. I know everyone is going to recommend mils vs moa and I am used to MOA but comfortable with mils. I have been out of the shooting game for a while. Always ran Leupolds and considered them pretty solid. I know nightforce is solid and of course the Zeiss, Steiner, Schmidt and Bender I am sure are still great. I know guys that shoot the trijicon tenmile whatever.

What do you think about the 5-25, that accomplish what I want or any recommendations? I see all these reticle setups by manufacturer. For one scope to rule them all, 1000 yds under, hunting and some bench shooting, moa or mil, what do you recommend. $2500 is kind of my max budget. I am open to used and not interested in chinese built. Nothing about their quality just personal choice.
