This was a project I wanted to do just to see if I could. I did it then switched the action to 223ai and they don't feed as good as the normal 223s did.

Obviously I’m not a gunsmith that’s why I’m here seeking help.I have a newer BAR MK3, with an adjustable gas block.

So I found a good video on how to completely disassemble a BAR. I did that cleaned it in an ultrasonic parts cleaner (parts that would fit). While it was apart I spray painted the barrel only. I taped the gas block off really good multiple layers as not to get paint in there. Reassembled, function test. Everything was good. Then test fired, goes bang like normal but won’t eject. I thought maybe it was the gas block that needed tuning even though I didn’t touch that at all. So I went from tight all the way out to 8 full turns in 2 full turn increments (10 full turns is max). All fired none ejected. So now what? Or what did I fuck up?

Edit: I’ll add that before I took it apart it would cycle whatever ammo I threw at it flawlessly. Never had a single failure to eject or short stroke. Probably 300 rounds down the barrel.

P.s this was a gun I kind of built to do 1mile stuff with and ran 135 bergers. Never got to do the mile stuff and ended up sitting collecting dust for the past 4 years.

I've got a Remington 700 .243, it looks exactly like the ADL they have listed on their website, but it was made in 2011. It doesn't have the twist rate marked anywhere on the barrel so I'm assuming it's a 9 twist based on what others have said, so correct me if I'm wrong. I was wondering what a really accurate load would be for this setup. I shot 100 grain Federal Power Shok rounds earlier today and was grouping at about 1 inch at 100 yards, but I know I can tighten that up with hand loads. I've only got about 300 yards of property to shoot on so that's about as far of a shot as I'll be taking.

I designed this concentricity gauge which as best I can tell is fairly unique as it supports measuring both OD and ID of the neck. Like the 21st Century, it uses a test indicator gauge which is more accurate than plunger style dial indicator seen on most designs.

Precision is maintained via inexpensive, yet precision ground ball bearings rather than relying on other options which may induce additional measured runout. And yes, it bolts down to an Inline Precision mount.

This is what came on my Springfield 2020 rimfire but I upgraded the optics. Never been used or sighted in, just no use for it. Should make a decent little 22 scope for someone.

I came across some older brass that has never been fired. This is Norma brass head stamped 6mm NORMA BR but it has been necked up to 6.5 BR. It is primed with Remington 7 1/2 primers (SRP). It is quite dirty. I’ll sell it as is for $0.60/round ($60 for 100 rounds) or if you want me to deprime, tumble, anneal, resize to 6BR, and reprime I’ll sell it for $0.85/round ($85 for 100 rounds). Minimum of 100 rounds either way. I have 1000 rounds. PayPal F&F. Let me know if you have questions. In last picture the left one is a piece cleaned and resized to 6BR compared to the original piece on the right.

The rifle has approximately 150 rounds fired, including the 40 from the JP-recommended barrel break-in using Hornady ammo. I bought it to shoot matches with but never got around to any gas-gun matches.

Trigger is as good as my competition bolt guns, the action is smooth, and it shoots great with any decent ammo. Never used handloads. It has a thermal dissipation system, LMOS (low mass operating system), and a cryogenically treated barrel. Great for PRS-style matches in the gas gun division.
