A 1.5 Spuhr on the factory rail lines up well with my 1.375” UTC-Xii fwiw

On a positive note , this gamer gun let me take number 1 at the barricade for the second time at the match and I’m a terrible shot

The AT-X "High Rail" is lower than the AT High Rail. The AT-X High Rail is designed to be coplanar with the full length forend rail.

The rails will fit either action, but be aware of the compatibilities.

So what is the product SKU number for the AT-X high rail. I don’t see one on either EuroOptoc nor Mile High website. I think many were under the impression that this one was the one we needed and when I called EO to ask this is the one I was told.

Thanks in advance.

This is the correct part number (29394BL) for the AT-X high rail. This will align coplanar with the 20MOA rail that installs on the full length forend bridge.

Any update on the axsr buttstock and folding hinge?

Where’d you get a hinge ?

Also. I hear there are failures with this at-x trigger also.

Got to be honest AI is starting to sully their reputation

He said summer of 2022. Only way to get one currently is to buy the AXSR chassi and pull it off.
Oh damn. I had preordered the hinge immediately when it was available on EO. So much for folding it into a pelican before the summer.

No. That’s different. The hinge is to make the sundaes stock be able to fold. That’s supposedly coming out soon. (April o believe). The actual ASXR stock they said later in 2022

I’m sad they don’t just split the chassis and sell us the buttstocks now.

What grip is that?

Our distributors will be able to order AICS, for Remington 700, at the beginning of March. All are short action and we will start with the longer front end. Delivery will commence in July 2022.
There should be a new thread on AICS shortly.

Tom any specific dates to look out for? Just not wanting to miss the preorder.

Just sorting out the planning for machining right now. Had to make sure all of the second production AT-X components were nearly complete and then have to program CNC machines for the AICS in Remington 700 as well as the new rear end.
We will be advising our distributors and taking orders next week so you will be able to order after that and delivery is likely to be July 2022 for the first production run of 100.

Still awaiting the arrival of my AT-X, but I was able to get my full length bridge and a barrel spun up. The barrel is a heavy varmit contour and just messing with the pieces, it almost seems like i will not be able to run that barrel with the bridge. Anyone have some insight to the fitting of these two things?

I think I remember someone saying they tried to fit a straight 1.250" barrel on one...

Might have been @NoLegs24 maybe?

My memory sucks though so maybe I'm wrong

Chull post below was by Scott at Ai
With the bridge installed a barrel of 1.250" diameter will fit with clearance. That being said, you will find you don't need an 8+ lb barrel to balance the rifle and stay on target through the recoil cycle. The weight system is a much better approach to tuning the rifle.
The AT-X will ship with a 4 groove cut rifle barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor manufactured by AI in Portsmouth, UK.

Barrels supplied in the US are finished at WIN Tactical from contoured blanks supplied by Bartlein. We have been using Bartlein blanks for about 10 years in the U.S. and will continue to do so.

The interior diameter of the forend bridges is 1.300". The bridge will clear a 1.250" diameter barrel. As Jorge has noted, running a no taper 1.250" barrel may not be the best approach and we did not intend to design the rifle to such extremes. The channel weights, when installed, will also clear a 1.250" barrel. The AI barrel is 1.220" at the breach end and .950 at the muzzle. The weight of the finished 6.5 CM barrel at 24" is 5.8 lbs. So, it's very close to the "M24/M40" profile in finished weight.

I run heavy varmint and it works, you have to put the bridge on first, then install the barrel and it’s fine

I just ordered the ATX FDE, hopefully i will get it in 3 monts 🙏🙏🙏
I will be running the ZCO 527, what spuhr mounts would you use for this setup? Is the 1.5 inch high enough?
Yeah. 1.5 if you’re running the full length forend rail.

3 months??? You better just forget you even ordered it because it’s going to be probably triple that
That's what I was thinking... I passed 3 months last week and your at the back of the line. :cautious: gives you time to get ahold of accessories though.

So the AT-X high action rail quest continues. I first got PN 26612 (AT high action rail) before Scott posted his explanation. It is in fact the wrong part. As you can see in the first picture, it is close to lining up but not quite. This doesn’t make a difference with most clip ons, but some (like HISS-XLR) are pretty sensitive to it.

Then I ordered the correct part number, which is 29394. The height seems correct, however this rail doesn’t have the two shiny metal recoil lugs (or whatever they are called). This is confusing because both the original low AT-X rail and the high AT rail have them. So before I start hammering at these to see if they come out, does anyone know what the deal here is? Why the difference?

First pic is 26612, second pic is the original AT-X low rail side by side with the high AT-X rail.
