Here is your fail on a harris. I still use them and they replaced the part under warranty no questions.. I’ve never seen one fail on our team and we trained constantly(outside of deployments), ran the piss out of em and weren’t soft on em.

Hat Creek is the artist formerly known as Pimp Skittles(Looking at you, Hat Creek Training),
In official config options it now lists MLOK as an option for the MIL/LE version of the AT-XC. I am assuming here, but T&E are underway for this version at Hat Creek. AINA did pass around 13 pre-production models of the AT-X a few years ago for T&E/Demos.You guys tell me what the hell I'm looking at, because the longer I look at the video screenshot, the more confused I get. As far as I can tell, it's an AT-X(C) MIL with MLOK. It has the full length ARCA bottom, along with MLOK in the mag well side, and appears to be a short action. But it has an AXSR Buttstock and grip angle. The more I stare at it the more it bugs the hell out of me.
Top photo is the AT-X(C) MIL with Keyslot. Note the overpressure hole, the angles around the extraction port, the angled cuts, etc. Then, below that is the ASR and AXSR for reference.

If the owner is on here (Looking at you, Hat Creek Training), and you can post some detailed photos of your rig plus any stories behind it, we would all appreciate it. Because if this rifle is a model that actually exists, I want one.
That’s definitely a failureHere is your fail on a harris. I still use them and they replaced the part under warranty no questions.

I've had that exact same failure on a Harris, and I've had a CAL fail due to improper heat treatment on the notched plate causing the notch for the 90 degree position to round-over on one side, so that leg would fold back when the bipod was loaded (manufacturing defect). I'm not even running my stuff hard either - all just square range shooting. In both cases the manufacturers repaired/replaced without hesitation. I still run both types, prefer the CAL but Harris has it's place. My biggest gripe with the Harris is the rotating legs that roll away from you on a smooth, firm surface. That’s definitely a failure. Never say never I guess. I just didn’t see it in my time. They impressed me enough that I still use em mostly. Except for on my AI. I will say I plan on trying one of the cool competition oriented bipods now that I can pick/use my own stuff.
What exactly happened? In the mounting plate separating from the legs? Yep the Harris isn’t great on roof tops that’s for sure and the legs would roll. We’d carry nylon webbing/carabiners to anchor to our packs and apply back pressure in situations like that (hard surfaces/slopes)To be fair we were shooting 20lb AI’s that didn’t move a lot period. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying theyre the end all… just pretty good, pretty light, pretty durable IME, and CHEAP compared to others. I'm now left with even more questionsHat Creek is the artist formerly known as Pimp Skittles
Sounds like the same thing that happened to me, once upon a time. Rounded off the edge so the leg wouldn’t stay put. Easy repair and good CS, though. What exactly happened? shit.. where’s all the AI members pictures running TT, ZCO, S$B, Steiner’s on their AI’s? This thread is becoming like a Disney channel..
Ah, to have access to the wide open spaces of the American West. Jealous every time you guys post a pic out there.
Yes, my CAL was exactly like that, and my Harris failure was exactly like the one pictured up above. The CAL was due to some heat treatment out of spec from a supplier. Yours is likely the same.Sounds like the same thing that happened to me, once upon a time. Rounded off the edge so the leg wouldn’t stay put. Easy repair and good CS, though.

I mean imagine making mlok mil/le only option. If this holds true, what a cuck thing to do…In official config options it now lists MLOK as an option for the MIL/LE version of the AT-XC. Would great to hear the official word if this config will be available for commercial users.
Maybe I need to get into elr just for more people running suppressors
Yeah that doesn't sound like classic AI at all...I mean imagine making mlok mil/le only option. If this holds true, what a cuck thing to do…
Hopefully, the LH models are coming as well.Looks like sage green AXSR is starting to roll in. Damn! I want one..

Accuracy International: AXSR .300 PRC - 27", Sage Green
AI : SR30P27MBL. The AXSR is based on Accuracy International's submission for the USSOCOM Advanced Sniper Rifle program (ASR).www.milehighshooting.com
Something's wrong, the grass isn't laid out flat because of the wind..
Hopefully, the LH models are coming as well.
You may be right
I’ll be shooting my lefty AT in 2036 still holding out for the new lefty variants and extra boltsYou may be right
You can get a new AXSA for that price from some of the vendors here at the hide..is $7,000.00 for an axsa with proof carbon barrel in 6cm (likely 300-400 rds top) high? Local dude is selling it, i wanted to price check.
Thank you.You can get a new AXSA for that price from some of the vendors here at the hide..
Well crap. Now you’re going to make me have to put one of my ES barrels on one of my SG rifles, and vice versa.Sage green is a lovely color… for a dining room, especially with a light hardwood flooring.
Now if it was Elite Sage that would be something…
lol they all look the same after you get the krylon outWell crap. Now you’re going to make me have to put one of my ES barrels on one of my SG rifles, and vice versa.
Good point. Although…what was stopping him from setting up on his mate’s right shoulder?Nobody going to mention +1 for weakside trigger break?
(Or do you think his LH bolt is still on backorder?)
Maybe they edited it?
Here you go…@carbonbased idk how to take stills from video but there’s a split second where you can see the gun from the left side, and the covered suppressor.
The sound suppression in that video is mind boggling to me. It sounds like my 9mm subsonic pcc with mic behind the shooter. Idk how they didn’t get supersonic crack bouncing off all the walls and ceiling. The flash bangs were quiet too. Maybe they edited it?
I'd say given they said they train it that it was deliberate...I’d love to know what scope he was using, how close it focuses, and what the low end of the mag range is and if it’s ffp or sfp.
Speculate he prob thought he was clear of the monitor and got lucky. I’d take some risky shots but barrier penetration with hostage on either side is way past gas station sushi
Thank you so much, was struggling to order a new barrel since my old AW Lothar Walther shoots that good. Always wanted a 26" barrel instead of my 24" though. The question is why would you want to, and for what calibre?
It’s still up in the air if AI have fixed their own AI homemade barrels. So why take the risk, when you can have a lovely Bartlein one?
If you only wanted a .308 barrel I’m sure Sporting Services have a stock of older, but brilliant LW made barrels which used to come on all their guns years ago.
