Interesting, I never knew that history and always thought the song was about Alice's in CA. The restaurant is cool but the real appeal are the epic roads to ride to get there. The lot is always full of cool bikes and cars.

Thanks Sirhr. I feel like I’ve lost a friend. I don’t know how many times I played that song, but I know I wore out two LPs of Alice’s Restaurant before digital came along. She will be missed. And remembered.
