Went on a binge and bought 4 suppressors from Silencer Shop on Single shot trust. The first (Ventum 762) one certified on 11/18, Approved on 12/9. The other 3 (CAT DD, 2 x Velos LBP 762) certified on 11/25 and all Approved on 12/10.

Yes I did! In fact I chose the dealer because he had the kiosk with the digital finger print scanner.
Had a hiccup on one suppressor. Paid stamp and xfer fee on 11/12. Didn’t hear anything and when I called them on 11/20 they said I hadn’t paid. So that one wasn’t certified until 12/10. My other was certified on 11/27 and approved 12/13
Filed April and got approval today. Paper from with 2 person trust. Coincidently emailed the nics liaison the other day asking for any info. Not saying thats why it went through but very coincidental.

After checking my email, I sent on the 10th and my stamp was actually approved on the 11th. Like I said could just be coincidence.

Neat, i just emailed them about a customer submission thats taking too long. Didnt know what to put in the email aside from the eform Id and a brief description. I got a response 20 min later asking for name and dob.
Edit: 10 mins after that email they responded that it was “in process”.

Came across this thread and the NICS Liason email yesterday. I had two individual eforms submitted on 10/4 and 11/18. Sent the email last night and got approval on both this morning. Hard to say that is a coincidence!

What's the general consensus lately on fast approval times?

Individual used to have a major edge on fast approvals now your talking about days not weeks. My single shot trust came back in three days.
Once you have had a three month wait, is it perhaps faster the next time around, or does that not matter?
It does not matter, you are pulling the slot machine handle every time
Cant speak for other trusts, but silencershop trusts are taking the exact same amount of time as individuals in my shop.
Ive gotten six customer cans back in the last two weeks, all were roughly 48 hours excluding the weekends/holidays. This has been going on since late August or early September. Just got one back this morning that was submitted the evening of 12/20. So the NFA branch is back into the office today.

My transfer from 12/02 must have been in the naughty pile. Some times my transfers fly through and other times I sit and wait.

our ATF/NFA application is in process. When an application is completed, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will provide the final determination. Currently, there is no further status information available. " hope soon
This was the info I was looking for. I have a trust and was curious the current wait time using one. Crazy to think my first ever suppressor bought like 20 years ago took 11 months. lol. Quickest ever was 5 months and that was 10years ago maybe.
That was the basic response I got too, when I emailed them a couple weeks back. Sure wish there was a "fast lane" for those who have already had NFA items approved, since the initial ground work should already be done...

I forgot to mention this family trust submission was with a 24 month exemption letter. If you have had a trust approval within the past 24 months and there have been NO changes to said trust you can use the exemption letter. This way they don’t review your trust documents again speeding up the approval.

Been waiting almost 4 months for 2 cans on a indivual eform through silencershop. I emailed the [email protected] this morning and within 6 hours I got approved. Insane.
Amazing. I sent an email inquiry to Nics liaison a couple hours ago. Just got an answer back saying a final status has been provided to ATF. Please give them a few days.
I got the same response and within a few hours of their response I got the approval emails
