Awesome suppressor muzzle brake front end attachment by Recoilx

Anyone know if gunwerks cams use similar threads to any of existing offerings? Got a cert at a match today but I’m not sure I really want any of their cans if I can’t stick a recoilx on it.

We don’t offer any brake for the Gunwerks cans, unfortunately.

Did some shooting with and without on a 8.5 lb 6mm CM Saturday. Friday night I watched Utimate Reloader's YouTube video where he found no difference on a 308 but a lot of difference on a 300WM, albeit with a different design but still a brake on the end of a suppressor. I tried this rifle both ways after watching that because I figured I wouldn't sacrifice the length and weight if it didn't help - but I thought it did help. Now, my 6CM has an 18" barrel (this is a hunting rifle), so I'm wondering if the difference in gas pressure into the suppressor of a 18" barrel vs a 24"+ makes the brake more effective? Seems to make sense in my pea brain?

I have a feeling you need more powder (gas) to make it effective. I would assume a lot of gas energy from a 308 vs WM has been neutralized in the baffle stack by the time it hits the brake part. An 18" creedmoor should have a lot of gas expansion left over to make use of the brake ports. At least, that's my theory.

I fan feel a difference on a 20# 6br with brake cap VS without. There is likely a more noticeable difference with larger cartridges, but the recoil reduction is still there.
