I've seen a few guys running the Loki stuff and I have Googled them, but not anyone running a 300blkout! Anyways pretty excited!! And yes I will use the search engine for info 
But since this is an active forum...What do you think about Loki?

I have a friend who is trying to convince me to get a 300BO. What are the advantages over other rounds? Are any modification that have to be make to the standard AR lower? Will the standard AR mags work?

All you have to change is the barrel. Same lower & mags will work as with a 223.

Yeah, going to take it to the range this weekend. All I have is the Remmington 115 umc stuff I'm sure that its not super accurate but the brass will be reloaded. I really like the fit of the lower to my RRA lower...nice and tight. Every thing looks to be in place. Very light weight 16" barrel with a Rifle length float tube. In the future I'll get this supprest and use it for what its built for, killing Coyotes close to urban areas!!

The 300bo is designed to be an AR compatible 30 cal subsonic round. There are also the light supersonic rounds, but this is a very very quiet round when supressed and fires out of an ar15 without any mods to the lower or mags.

It is ballistically similar to a 7.62x39. It is much more efficient in short barrels than .223. My SBR is a 10" 300 BLK. I wouldn't want to use a short .223 for hunting, but the 300 BLK is great with the large selection of 30 caliber bullets.

My loki 300blk will be hear on monday. Great guys to deal with. They had some delay's getting the barrel I ordered. So they built my upper with a fluted and I think also nitrited saturn cut rifled hand lapped vs the liberty button barrel I ordered (at no charge). Retail on that barrel is $600ish so more than I paid for the whole upper. I'll give a repot on how she shoots when it gets hear.

Wow...ok, now I had my doubts about the ammo..and I have never ran a LOKI before but Damn!! this thing is a hammer. Ok I only ran it out to 120yds as I didn't want to search for brass in the tall grass on the 300yd line but at 100 on paper it was a point and click deal. I was running the Remington 115gr UMC as thats all my Dealer had. I bought two boxes and called and had Him hold more for me. Clay pigeon remains were scattered all over the range and burms which lead to my total belief in this Loki upper and 300blk. I picked one put the cross hair on it and it was hit, done, gone. Anyways very happy with the setup. I'll post pics soon. I have yet to email them to myself from my Iphone. Later.

First 6 rounds out of the upper at 100yds!! Yeah the target was shot already..didn't have time to run to Academy and get some new ones.

I will. Gonna get it all fixed up with some Magpul stuff and a leupold VX-R Zombie scope. Its nice to have but I won't need more than 4x on the rifle. Then sometime next year after our Baby is born...I'll get the suppressor for it. Mostly going to run Hornady 110vmax in it...then the 208Amax for subs.

Mine likes the 110 v-max & 208 hpbt match! You should go ahead and get the suppressor now, cause by the time you get your stamp back from ATF it will be next year! Anyway, sounds like a great set up! Enjoy it, their a blast to shoot!
