Got through 9 of these buggers today.

    Thread, chamber, contour, crown.

Tomorrow I fit gas blocks and engrave.

Not too chabby for an 8 hour shift. G-muny has that lathe dialed in pretty good these days.

What I love is how they repeat. H/S was jonny on the spot for every one of them with the same program. Thread tolerances ran to the same number too.

    Nice with chit works!

    Excellent job!

    Goin home!

If you can crack the code on how to get the SR series including the 110 to shoot under an inch with and without the can, you will have solved something that nobody thought humanly possible.

If he does. I hope he doesn't tell anyone. I need him available for another build!

This is a Direct copy/paste from the email I received yesterday morning regarding the 1st batch we did: It was 4 SR-25's in the 1st batch from a month ago.

I'm just the messanger. I don't care for numbers much as it pertains to group size as I equate it to a dick measuring contest. Be that as it may, it's nice to see a client with a big smile.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Outstanding…..!!! Thank you sir. Yeah we expected some broken part issues like the first batch had. That’s common when rebuilding a mechanical device of any kind. Yes, please switch out the bad gas tube with a temporary fix for now, we will have XXXX replace them all when they arrive back at XXXXX. Thanks for that man, it isn’t often that I run across honest guys these days, unfortunately…..

Glad you had a good break from the fight for a few days. Everyone needs that from time to time. I am hoping to do the same this fall and kill some birds by using my ninja like scattergun skills…!! Haaaaaaaa..!!

FYI: I shot the weapons down at Tiger Valley last week and they are all hammers…!! Sub – 1/8 MOA at 100 and 1/4 MOA at 400…!! Your workmanship is impressive man. If I win the Powerball, you will be a busy man..!!!

Thanks again. Keep me posted. </div></div>

This 3" target spotter was shot by a student at 400 yards. I was told the spread was 1/2 an inch. It was done with one of the SR-25's we'd worked on.

This is a 1000 yard group fired on a man size silhouette.

Like I said, it's a penis length contest and often it opens more room for speculation and debate than anything else IMHO.

Still, we know what we did and its nice to see it carry over to the end user.

They did tell us that for the first time in 7 years they had two shooters rip clean scores on the course of fire. That had never been done before I guess as the SR typically makes it a challenge to even qualify.

I do know this: I had a conversation just yesterday with an acquaintance from Iraq. Back in the day DDM's from Bee dubb were given a "cold call" where they had to show up at the range and perform on the spot with the SR-25. Almost all the shooters failed the test. They had been doing their certifications with the M-24's only as the SR's were so bad that they couldn't make them work. It created quite a ruckus because Uncle Sugar ended up back charging/billing Bee dub for all the hours that these guys were deployed with alleged fraudulent certs. Were talking millions of dollars and potential fines. I don't know how it was ultimately handled/resolved, but suffice to say the problem surrounded the weapon system and its apparent poor performance.

Bottom line is,hopefully we were able to solve the issues. So far it seems promising.
