My 243 Ackley arrived today and I'll have to say it was well worth it.

Greg at Southern Precision Rifles did an outstanding job. I couldn't be more pleased. His work is top notch and I can highly recommend him.

Karl at Kampfeld Customs coated it for me and his work is flawless.

That is an awesome rifle. Very fine piece of equipment. Now you just have to get out there and put some rounds down range and show us those awesome groups!

Its coyote tan and black

The pictures make the rifle look a lighter color than it really is. I had my flash on and the sun was out, so maybe I shouldn't have had the flash on. Anyway its a true coyote brown.

Heck of a nice rig, and that Karl sure is the master at Cerakote work, and builds a fine rifle to boot!! I sure like the .243 he did up for me.

Congrats on a really nice rifle.

That is damn sharp, well done. I see you went with a 12 twist. What bullet are you looking to shoot ? The 243AI was my first wildcat & probably one of my favorites. Just ate anything I fed it. Looking forward to the range results.

definitely looking forward to your range report on this one! im trying to decide between this caliber and the 6-284 for exactly the same purpose.

that is eye catching rifle. There is only one thing I don't like about it - the bolt is on the wrong side. Varmints beware - you are getting smoked by a pretty rifle.
