Built this a year or so ago. Wanted a throw over poncho style that was light for hunting here in Hill Country. Used a fishing net with camo burlap stripped and tied on. Added longer wider strips of burlap for depth. The leaves were an add on that really seem to help it blend in. I used green, brown, and tan spray paint for some added color and to take the sheen off the plastic plants. Weight is 3.5#. Boonie is built same way. Any input for future is appreciated. Thanks.

drag it down a dusty road, toss it in a puddle, shake off the heavy stuff when it dries just to take off the edge.

the netting is nice to add local veg to it easily.

looks good, nice boots.

Diggin the Ostrich leather!

I'm up in the air over the added on fake leaves... I probably wouldn't have added them, you can always veg up once you're in your AO

glad to see im not the only one who thinks those are some nice boots lol.

good looking poncho. i agree with throwing some dirt on it.

are the fake plants you used modeled after plants in the local area? obviously animals won't notice either way but i was just wondering.
