I recently had a suppressor with an error status because it was missing the Certification of Compliance. I was doing 2 transfers with a trust in one envelope and only sent one 5330.20 in. There must have been a mistake somewhere. I just sent in the compliance form and received my stamp a week or so later.

The date on that link you provided was from 2008 so it is a few years old. As for sending in the compliance form, ever since I got that error for not sending in the 5330.20 for transferring and item with a TRUST I always send it in and haven't got an error on any of my items on a trust since

So I would guess yes based off my transfer experiences.

You sure you're waiting on Pickles? My last two were signed by Sara Jones and I'm in TN as well. They were approved 9/14/12.

Cvarney once the error is corrected you will normally get it back fast like 1-2 weeks tops. I have had three errors to correct in the past and this is what it was for me each time. Good luck PG

it will be under your name for individual or your trust name under a trust. you may also need your dealers company name.

otherways to check this are to compare pending to approval times here or visit other places such as nfatracker.com

I'll start working on a work on a basic suppressor FAQ for a sticky. Im no guru so ill put what i know and have you other guys help me fill in the blanks.

And for what it's worth, you'll be told only if it's pending or not. You will not be told when it will be approved. You WILL be told that approval times are approximately 6 months from the time the application became pending.

Got everything needed to the ATF, the guy that was going over my trust there was William Thurston, and a note from my seller mentioned "inspector #8" or something like that was assigned to it. I got an email from him this morning saying he's recieved everything and is passing it on to the examiner for approval. So i'm guessing around the 1st of Dec roughly. I imagine it being a holiday week will slow it down a bit too. But it's nice to see the end of the tunnel.

mine is pending 6/14 and all they have told me is that it was transferred to the examiners desk on Oct 24 and is just waiting on his signature. I didn't realize that they would give you a date on that stage. I would hate to see the amount of paperwork on that desk!

at least this is what she asked me today. you may need more info or less depending on who you talk to. it is the govt after all...

NFA tracker is no where close to accurate anymore. My can went pending August 27th and it keeps telling me I have a 58% chance of December which in reality with the 6 month waits I'm looking at late January or early February of next year.

Sorry to break it to ya Broker.... your most likely right. I received a problem status/notice November 6th, resubmitted correction and it went pending approval 15 November.... still nothing (my original pending date was June 22).

My dealer sat on my paper work for 4+ months after getting the cans = so one took over a year and then next was 10 months ( i even bugged them to make sure everything was on track) / yes i was pissed

Have both in my hands now.

Dude... That's total bullshit man. Tell me he refunded some of your money at least? You should post up who ever it was you used so no one else gets shafted like that.
