Me too. My form 1 went pending July 6th. Hoping it comes quick. Hunting with an AR15 pistol in 300blk is kinda the shits.

Got an error letter about my July 9th pending suppressor, they said schedule A was not included, which is bullshit. It's page 30 of the 36 page trust I sent with it.

At any rate they're getting into July pendings for those holding their breath.

so, in theory, you should be bout 2 weeks out, right?

as far as the error letters, do they go to the dealer or the owner of the item?

2 weeks or less in theory. I emailed a PDF of the schedule A they needed, and the assistant said it should be approved in the next day or two. That's how it went with my last error letter. That one I snail mailed the correction back and had the approved form in hand 2 weeks later.

Error letter went to my dealer.

so this is what it felt like as a kid waiting for christmas! i'll be 33 soon, so its been awhile since i've been super excited about christmas. i'm definitly calling off work the next day!!!

and this has nothing to do with our cans coming around christmas time. it just happens to be that way.

the reason i ask is that my dealer is not very good at calling when things come in. i ordered a storm lake barrel, and he told me it would be 6-8 weeks before it came in. so i happened to stop in one day ask if it was in yet. "oh, it's been here for awhile". this was on week 10. also, if you call and ask on availabilty or price for a gun, they say, "i'll call you back on that". oh well...his loss.

Called today to check on the status...

And my other 2 forms, no longer have any record....
agent said "call your dealer".

I am sending my forms in today, I realize it takes 6+ months. What happens after approved? The stamp(s) are sent to the dealer and then they call you to come pickup the can(s)?

I am no FFL so forgive me if this is wrong but it is my understanding that a suppressor is considered a firearm by the ATF so it should be going in and out of their log book and the only way to get to out of their log book is a 4473. A NICS check is not required unless the item is going to a trust/LLC,Corp or other entity in which case the person picking up the suppressor has not yet been checked out.


Hopefully a dealer can step in here and elaborate as I'm sure that is a very shitty representation of what has to happen lol.

Also I went straight through TBAC and when I picked my two up I did a 4473.

Interesting. Just asked my new dealer and he said he does but no call in also. Looks as if I will be doing some on my new additions. Sorry about that looks like my old dealer is going to get an ass kicking come audit time.

I have received 6 stamps via trust. From two different dealers. I have filled out the forms 4473 on them all and never had any of them called in on the instant check. From my understanding is the trust owns the stamps. Hope this helps. But hell I could be in the wrong also. Lol. All 6 were cans

I used to never fill out the 4473 at the shop where I do my transfers but on the last one they had me do it, however they didn't run the check, not sure if they changed a rule or something perhaps? The other cans I all bought prior to last year.

Sent out my forms in mid may, can't remember the exact date. Just got the paperwork kicked back because ATF wanted me to remove the last 2 letters on a model name, so hopefully 2 weeks or so and I'll have the can back!

Yep it was Pickles. Pending 6/13, Approved 11/15. </div></div>

Damn, I might not make Christmas with the Thanksgiving break factored in then. Went pending July 17.

last time I called and spoke with atf agent deameon, he told me this is the final stage where its waiting for final approval. He estimated me at 30 days.
I gather (and these are my guesses), that the assistant has checked the form and put it on the examiners approval desk. I also think approval will be less than 30 days but they are factoring for gathering up a new pile and mailing them out.

I was told that mine went to the examiners desk October 24th and I am sill waiting. I wouldn't hold your breath on it being less than 30 days. Mine was pending June 14th.

Just one and one on the way-- not gonna have 5 or 10 kids so I might have to get 2-3 suppressors per kid.
