Boycott CT businesses or threaten to. If there were and add in a gun rag saying to boycott CT gun makers you would see some traction against this stuff from a different angle than the usual suspects. CT should ban the manufacture of the weapons also, but that would cut into employment numbers and tax base.

I've seen this fight before. We have in California a Senator named Kevin D'Leon who every year tries to put forth a Ammo tax and Ammo finger printing bill and outlawing Bullet Buttons and so forth.

He even goes so far to say that there will be a 50rd box of ammo limit a month.

It never passes or always get's thrown out of court.

I've seen these battles every year for 25 years in CA.

Like others stated, stay active in writing your representatives from Gov, State, NRA, ect.

Your kidding right?

Because lets see they have driven out all but a very select few gun companies here in CT. We once had the market cornered with all but a select few manufactures here. CT politicains don't care about jobs they have been running companies off since the late 1970's. Not just gun companies either all companies! Tax Base? The tax base here is the rich that for whatever reason choose to live here.

So the only thing your suggestion will hurt is the last few remaining gun companies here.
