Super excited! I just picked up a long awaited Sig P228 M11A1. Its my first Sig. Initially I I thought I was going with a variant of the P226(MK25).I cant wait to get it to the range. The feel of the Sig is soo nice compared to all the polymer guns I have felt. Anyways, I would appreciate feedback on what you feel is the best inside the waistband holster. Something that will not mar the heck out of my investment.

Thank you, Adam

Re: Sig M11A1

I wouldnt try and carry that gun unless you wear a coat or jacket 24/7. I have always thought sigs were exceptionally tall and consequently hard to conceal. And I would think iwb would be uncomfortable with a gun that sized.

If you can carry a gun that size all the time I say more power to ya, but it does no good to you at home or in your car. I personally would look at a smaller gun to iwb.

Re: Sig M11A1

Raven concealment makes owb holsters for it, Comp-tac, milt sparks do as well.

I wouldnt skimp on a good holster, especially when you plan on carrying a gun like that.

Re: Sig M11A1

IWB or OWB?

The P228 has an IWB from Cobra Gunskins that is setup nicely. Your choice of finishes and stitching if you order from them at full price. You can find black/black options at local gunstores.

Jensen Arms in CO for example carries a nice selection of them, if you want/need to look at an alternative to the big names that still offers good quality, with less wait to get your stuff.

Re: Sig M11A1

Love mine and can easily carry it in a owb high ride holster, but I am 6'4" , 228 lbs. I did put Hogue aluminum grips on mine, great gun.
