Life.

While Mr Willis is rambling about who the hell knows what, and Veer_G vs PPB is always in the back ground. A man holds on to his son as long as he can.

I feel for them, but I'm not going to swallow any guilt by insinuation. Got a heart for me? Got a liver for PPB? We all bear burdens, and it's by God's grace that I don't bear the burden of that father. Were that I could take it from him but for even a day and relieve him of some of it, I would, but its weight is his and his alone. As it stands, I've already buried a child, and I wish it on nobody.

WOW. I did not know that Veer. My condolences. Death is part of life. It is difficult to understand as it approaches the young ones. Painful to watch.
I wish we could change things but we are not the Creator. Veer said it.-- It is by God's Grace

Sobering thread.

It's actually not that interesting a discussion. How do you discuss something that demands a willing suspension of disbelief? It's like trying to argue the physics of an Avengers movie.

Life is absurd, the universe is inherently comical. We give meaning to our lives through our choices against our circumstances. That father gave meaning to his son's otherwise wretched life by determining what days his boy has, will be filled with family, experience and love. That father is a hero to parenting. In the face of despair, of nature's cold indifference, he made the choice to brand meaning on his son's life and most likely those who know him and are inspired by him. The title of this thread is spot on.

It could be interesting. I neither believe nor disbelieve. Im a realist. Because of the prohibition against religious discussion Ive pm'd you the rest of my post.

I do agree tht the father here is did the right thing 100% and is to be praised.
