NEW - Atlas CAL (Cant and Loc) Bipod - PRE-ORDER (added 12.14)

I received my CAL. It's a fantastic bipod as expected. Solid and works exactly as you'd expect. I think I might like this one even more than the PSR. A quick note. It is slightly bulkier with the legs set wider, but that it's minor. Just something to keep in mind for those looking to keep everything as slim as possible.

The wider stance is actually a huge plus in my book. It seems like this Atlas is much more stable than the B10 model I had. I guess its all just personal preference.

Really excited to see guys getting these in hand already. I have a trip coming up at the end of the month I am hoping I will have this for.

I was always iffy on the pan feature and mainly got this bipod for the wider stance relative to the PSR. Didn’t have a desire to step up the Atlas 5H and the CAL fits this role nicely.

Received mine Saturday and was able to hit the range Sunday morning. VERY stable bipod. The tilt feature locks up very tight, but you still have that little bit of forward give when loading the bipod (which is one feature I love about Atlas bipods). I really like the wider stance. Just about perfect in my book.

Can’t Wait To Use It!!!

Good lord, what truck did you pull that axle off?

I've just finished chasing orders down and answering PM's, instead of going back through all of them to locate the order numbers to update, I'll post them here. My apologies for not taking the time to PM and hope this will suffice.

23995, 23980, 24097, 23674 - will all ship from this next production run.

Also, let me say that of several hundred orders everyone of you have been beyond understanding about my malfunction in posting/asking additional information be sent in which in turn caused our shipping department problems. That I've gotten several PM's about orders and requests which most could have been eliminated had I done the OP right!!! Also, we got several orders for multiple products and as is our MO, unless otherwise noted, we held several orders back until we got all of the parts to ship the complete order and everyone of you have been good about it except one person that took exception to our practice. Consequently this one issue has taken a lot of employees time to research and trying to resolve, this issue and connecting emails to orders has left several employees questioning why we even do a SH intro offer. Well, as I told them, the lions share of fault belongs to Kasey and his OP, the individual issues are just that people being people and the one issue was just that, one in hundreds. We will get it better next time! In the whole of it, we do the SH intro to support this community which remains the best group of people anywhere. The few challenges we face in doing this will keep us honest and on our toes striving to do better.

Hey Kasey. Not that folks here are a demanding bunch or anything........

Speaking for myself only, I appreciate the open communication and feel fortunate that my pre-order came through as expected and the new bipod model exceeds expectations. I can appreciate folks on your end were scrambling to assign emails with orders and I hope you will pass along genuine thanks to those who were coming at you with rakes and pitchforks....let me re-phrase that......for their efforts as they did a nice job getting the bipods out the door and hopefully that scrambling is settling down and nerves are less frayed.

Regarding the OP, eh! we all live and learn.

Best regards.

Kasey,

Really appreciate all that you do for the Hide and for those who use your products in harms way. Recieved the new bipod last friday, coincidently the night before a local match. Loved the function and impress at stability of this new tool. I will not be shooting much for the next 30 days, and I have my old Atlas if I get the chance. If it helps someone out who NEEDS a bipod now Im willing to pass mine forward and take one from a later shipment

Order: #23921 Placed on 01/22/2018 08:12:58

Not bitching.. patiently waiting.. Added SH in the comments but didn't put my SH handle (B-P-UU).

Lol dang, I ordered two of these (#23686) back on 1-9 and just now saw the post from 1-15 to send an email noting SH member. I'm so observant :ROFLMAO:
Oh well, I appreciate the deal and I figured it was a pre-order anyway so a wait was expected. Kasey, it's nice to see that you are taking care of people here and keeping solid communication. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks for all your efforts.

Copy that on the one member, not a bad dude just a set of circumstances added up...it's all good. The above expressed resolve is why this site is the best!
Clarify 1 - No SH handle required just "SH member" or "SH" is fine
Clarify 2 - The 4 order numbers mentioned above are NOT the only SH orders that will be fulfilled from this next production run. My hope is to fulfill all SH order from this run.

A little late to the party for the discount but I just placed an order on the one with the ADM 170-S mount.

Does anyone happen to know what's the shortest rail section that this mount will fit on? It seems to be either 3 or 4 slot from some of the videos I see on YouTube but I can't tell.

I have the screw clamp version (BT65) and it fits on a three slot rail. Can't say for sure but I bet it would also fit in three slot, as it appears the tension screw would fall into the middle slot.

I'm a little late to the party, but one of these is exactly what I want for my 260! Any idea when to expect them available for order?

Looks like you can backorder to get your spot in line

Got mine today, never even received a shipping notice  It takes 1-2 weeks to Norway with customs and all, so it must have been sent a while ago. Fantastic product, the quality looks amazing. Especially love the knurled section on the legs, super grippy. The Harris is degraded to the AR15, this one is staying on my Tikka. Thank you for the group buy, and for looking out for us Hide members.

I appreciate the SH discount, but shouldn’t you just fill the orders on a first come first serve basis / chronological order? What a cluster fuck this must be for your employees and I would be pissed if I was a non SH member and found out my order got thrown to the back because I didn’t put a “SH” in with my order. You guys make great products, but this has got to be dumbest way I have ever seen to handle orders.

All you need is a single slot on a pic rail and some meat on each side.... The ADM measures about 1.5" long, clamping part is 1.25.

I like the way that sounds! I have not checked status on inbound orders, but we are spun up on them and say 2-4 weeks is our "normal" back-order time-frame. I would think no later than April.

Perfect, I appreciate the heads up. I just went ahead and back ordered one, should be just in time for my next match then!

Thank you! That's exactly what I was going for, dumbest way to handle orders.....

1. SH members are getting priority over other pre-orders AS LONG AS THE ORDER IN NOTED AS BEING FROM A SH MEMBER.
2. We included our mailing list in this pre-order offer which added to the number of orders we were working with and my awareness of the need to add "SH member" to the new SH orders as well as the SH orders already submitted.
3. Most SH orders are being shipped in chronological order. I say "most" because in the shuffling of papers to answer customer questions, add/remove products, change addresses, etc. (see #2) some orders accidentally got placed on top and then another employee started processing them.
4. As far as being "pissed" as a customer, sure I can understand being upset but I would also like to believe a reasonable person would see there was no malice intended and be forgiving of the idiot that created the mess in the first place, yours truly.
5. Regarding the people I work with, they are a great group that have learned to work with an idiot like myself and we tend to face challenges collectively learning as we go. I'm proud to report no hands have resigned nor gone missing since this challenge started.

Last, anyone that chooses to be "pissed" can get a full refund for their order. Easy.

Perspective, SH was the first website of this nature and it's members have been a resource and support from the beginning of B&T. As such, we at B&T recognize this and choose to give back to this community and are willing to work through these issues to do so. We will learn, modify and continue to improve our process and customer service along the way to make these SH intros better and less stressful for all involved.

Like I said discounts for SH members I totally understand, but to put somebody else in the back of the line who has also put down their hard earned money to buy one of your great bipods (which are the best IMO) is not fair IMO, but hey man it's your bbq cook it how you want.....lol For the record I own one of your PRS bipods, two V8 bipods and two monopods I am a loyal customer, but will have to disagree on this.

For clarity, the "somebody else" you're referencing is a non-SH member?

Thank you for your support, I sincerely appreciate it! (It's ok to have candid conversation if the goal is to improve which is where I live!)

Well damn now I feel stupid for even having the conversation let's drink a beer and laugh about it......lol
Youre such phucker at first i was agreeing with you since ive seen order numbers that it was made after mine and they already got theirs and im still waiting lol..but that shizzz was funny..kasey saud for us hide members for the second batch will get free t shirt..kasey my size is large :)

Kasey, I got to say that you have a great sense of humor, are a trooper for putting up with our BS and I like the way that you think. I'm not sure how many people actually got your play on words there, but I laughed when I saw it.

I talk to people on these forums like we are old friends, sometimes it gets taken the wrong way, but my intentions are always good. I just ordered one my order#24539 please make sure you put me ahead of every one else.....lol

Is it possible to flip the locking lever mechanism 180 so the legs are further away?

If you mean the KMW lever that licks the swivel tension, then all that you have to do is move the legs 180 degrees from backwards to forwards.
