You guys sure make quick work of this stuff! Can you change the color of the thread title, or something that stands out when it’s active @Tucker301 ? You guys burned through 2 new ones before I caught up with you! You guys are awesome belligerents indeed!! ??
I leave the thread stickied when inactive. I think most of us scroll right by the pinned posts at the top.
When we go active I edit the title and try to make it stand out a bit with something like the --->
You should be able to subscribe to the thread. I've noticed that commenting doesn't keep you connected forever, and you'll stop getting notices after a short period, so "Tagging" doesn't really work as well as actually following the thread with the forum tools.

I just gave a bunch locally last week and this week, so I am pretty tapped out on charity funds at the moment, but if you guys want to scout up a teacher or something else in your AO and post it up.
My community does a "Lock Up Cancer" thing every year, and I had charges filed on two good friends, so I posted some bail money for them.
One was Christine, Leah's mom.
I was just looking at a GoFundMe for someone who lost everything in a house fire, but I swear, GoFundMe's make me a bit uneasy after some of their bad press.

I've got a girl down here in my neck of the woods trying to give cars to victims of human trafficking, but she is currently working on a different campaign to provide toiletries to a youth shelter. TP, tampons, underwear, stuff like that.

Preface:
This chick Christie Maxwell out of Houston had some decent shitposting that drew me to her profile. Upon inspection, it became apparent that she was trying, much like I am, to do some wild ass charity work.
Her objective is to give cars to victims of human trafficking. So I donated $100 to that to help get her going, and she bought some FB ads and has so far held on to what was left over. The goal for the first run is $10k. We talked about it, and I tried to convince her to aim for a smaller target and buy my worn but well maintained corolla for pennies on the dollar, but she's stuck on donating her own car to someone that needs it and using the proceeds to buy two more cars at auction and do the same thing again. I'm thinking a lot of that is because she doesn't want to take advantage of my kindness. Whatever, hopefully that goes well.
But, there's another thing she invited me to, but I can't attend because I'm travelling.
I'm thinking we can hook her up with enough money to buy supplies for at least a few of the kids involved in this thing, and she'll buy the supplies and deliver them when she goes there. Also providing an expense report and some pictures and shit.
An initial look at agapechildrenservices.org and what they've done so far didn't turn up anything funky, but there's also a bit of a lack of information available. Joy Davenport seems to be the #1 chick involved in the thing and she seems alright.
