Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

Hi sleeplz, Shoot me a pm with build number I will get my hands on it and find out what is up. Folders are always on the long side of the lead times. The office should have quoted that longer than the normal stocks if they did not. I will get you taken care of. Thank you

An extra 2-3 months was added to my build and should have been ready in Dec. Every week I would shoot an email or call and I would either get ignored or told next week. I can forward you the email chainz. Phone calls as well.

Hi powder burnz, it depends on specs, quoted estimated times are 4 to 6 months now. If it is basic inlet it should run on the shorter side. Pm what you are looking for, I can see if we have any flat tops coming thru that might work for you. Thank you

Had the same experience recently. Everyone who answers is always polite and accomodating, but they need to get a better handle on lead times. And to make matters worse mine showed up with large chips in it. My first and last Manners.

It’s the elite swamp color, I wanted the black Forrest but considering they had the stock I wanted ready to ship just not the color I can settle for the color. That’s the colors they offer.

I ordered mine 12/7 and last time I asked I was told May/June. Did they get that many orders in 2 weeks? I ordered a T2A-GAP.
 
That’s rediculously fast. I confirmed mine (T4A Elite) on 12/11, wasn’t really expecting any correspondence before the end of March. Maybe you were on the right side of a batch.
 
I spoke with manners at shot show and it sounded like they were slammed. I think they are having some growing pain. I am a smith in NW Montana, I tried to get a quantity discount and the number of stocks i needed to order to get a discount was crazy. But...I understand, they are great stocks and it’s hard to find good employees these days. Wait time is normally 6-9 months isn’t it?

Quality is exceptional, and I'm a particularly picky person.

No update on my left hand PRS1TK in artic camo - was supposed to have left Manners last month and should be in Australia this month but I haven't got an update from the Australian importer who apparently haven't heard anything from Manners.

Yes, to an extent. The shooting market here is vastly different to what you have available at your doorstep. We can get good gear (as far as bolt action rifles are concerned). For items such as Manners stocks, MPA, Cadex - anything high end, we don't typically have these types of items on shelves, they're all individual custom orders with very limited businesses here who are set up to do the import. The waiting game is probably not so different, but you don't have the option of walking into a store and handling a particular stock to determine if you like it - i bought the Manners because I trust the name based on what I read on here - I had previously ordered a konohawk (custom import) and wasted $1300 as it was not properly inletted and required extensive gunsmithing work - only to determine it couldn't be worked on due to the material it was made out of (it seems the company has since gone bust). The Manners PRST1TK only became available after my debacle with the Konohawk, so here I am $2300 later trying to get my hands on some much needed joy.
 
Can the flat top t2a elite you have in stock ready for inlet be inlet for a howa 1500 sa?

I just wanted to give a shout out to Thomas and the rest at Manners. I ordered a flat top and it was at my door in 2.5 weeks. It looks and feels great.

I placed an order for a lefty T4A barricade mini chassis in mid/late November, and just got the pay up in 2-4 weeks for March shipping email-- that's quick @ 4 months... Nice!

I ordered mine 3-4 weeks after you. Maybe I’ll get lucky soon. Was told May/June.

I ordered a lefty T4 with a mini chassis early November. I got my email also. It's a good week to be a lefty.

Same here. Great customer service from tmanners. Got both stocks this week and they are perfect. I dropped the EH1 off to my smith and he said that stock is gonna make him convert from being a McMillan guy. Lol

Gosh your getting my hopes up I’ll be seeing mine soon. Haven’t heard anything but approved the order 12-13. Not sure if I’m going to get the “your stock will be finished soon email” as I already paid. This is my first stock direct through them, really looking forward to it.

Just ordered a MCS-CS1 inleted for the Badger M2013 action simply told 12-14 weeks. Sounds fairly standard time frame. I’m always happy with the results from them. ?? to Manners.

I called them, and was talking about a PRS1 in the clear finish. They were talking about 6 months. Do they have anything in stock, or is everything a custom order?

I ordered this one in October of last year. Almost exactly five months from my approval to when they email and said it was ready to ship in 2-4 weeks. I paid on The Friday of that week and they shipped on the following Monday.

It was worth the wait to me to get exactly what I wanted.

Ordered a T2AGAP though a dealer, hopefully I will be on the right side of a batch. If it's 4-6 weeks, I'd be thrilled. Can't wait.
 
Ordered end of August and got email last week saying was done so ~7.5 months. Paid and shipped out same day. Was even more of a surprise to me since I didn't get a 4-6 weeks to go email.

Hi Tom,

Are you able to confirm if my stock has left the US for Australia? The Australian importer cant give me a straight answer at the moment.
 
I want to give a shout out to Tom for helping me resolve issue with two stocks I ordered. Stocks had some minor problems which isn't unusual for a handmade product and Tom took care of fixing them personally, sending pictures to verify that I'm happy with the result, and took care shipping both ways. Outstanding customer service.

I ordered this one on 8-29 and i received it today, once again manners knocked it out the park! Well worth the wait and I could have received it sooner but added some extra work to the stock so that was on me
