Ive been hearing about this “reckoning” happening for over a decade.
you have heard about it seriously for about 3 years... necessary people are waking up the fact that they may have to fight to preserve this country as we have known it... you can be complacent and nonchalant if you want, but serious people are now becoming far more aware of what is at stake here

Take a look at a thing called modern monetary theory are fractional reserve system is transitioning to that as we speak. The short version is in order to stay prosperous a nation must maintain a deficit.
