This should be interesting. Is it a trap for Trump? Or has their commie governor finally accepted it's completely a cluster?

Expect charges to be amended. Don't know about headshot outside store but the street scene looked like self defense. Those guys were going to kill him.
The muzzle energy of an AR is devastating. The right frangible bullet and it's game over.

1st degree murder isn't gonna stick. My guess is they put a plea deal together for a voluntary manslaughter charge. He's also a minor.

You're more than likely right regarding the 1st Degree Murder charge not sticking, but what does him being a minor have to do with anything? He's 17 and just allegedly capped a couple people. He could very well be remanded as an adult. You know what that means?

From what I’ve seen, it was likely a self defense shooting. However, what they will argue on is that he didn’t have to be there in the first place carrying around an AR and two that property is not worth human life. That will be the argument and the jury will have to decide. It’s sad that you cannot even protect what is yours these days without fear of repercussions. All of the video I have seen has shown the dude clearly outnumbered, fallen getting beaten by multiple attackers and multiple clips of a BLM dude reaching for a pistol and one pic even shows him with a pistol. So it’s hard to argue that at that point he wasn’t in fear for his life. Their only argument is that he didn’t have to be there and that he put himself in that situation. In that situation, how was this dude not as justified as one of the officers that started this whole mess? That is the conundrum.

He shouldn't have been there. I don't believe it's legal for someone under the age of 18 to possess a gun unless it is being used specifically for hunting, shooting sports, and firearm education. The civil lawsuits are going to put his parents/guardians into bankruptcy and potentially isolation.

I just find it interesting how the media continues to demonize people protecting property with firearms but doesn't against rioters that have beaten and hurt others, have destroyed the livelihoods of others, and so forth. Why is it such a problem to be an unbiased journalist? And now I'm seeing that they're peppering in words like "viligante" and "right wing" person as the cause whenever there is a violence problem. They are not labeling the "ANTIFA" and "left wing" people conducting obvious criminal activity the same way. Fact is these apparently "vigilante militia" would not be there if it weren't for cities getting constantly destroyed. The citizen is the militia. I have never heard ANTIFA actions labeled as "vigilante" by the mainstream media. Ever.

If you aint from Wisconsin, stay in your own fucking state, especially during a riot, which is what it is, the last thing we need is more gun violence.

All that will just lead to dumb fuck Illinois type laws in Wisconsin.

While I agree with your statement and where you're coming from, yall need to get your fucking house in order. Antifa getting bused in all over, way too easy to sit on your porch out in BFE with no remorse for the innocent people losing lives and livelihood to fucking communists with financing and concise over arching tactics which we've seen play out across the nation. If you don't stand up to the barn burners they will roast you, the cops can't do shit to help you. We're all afraid of something, seems to me like times are changing and now you'll have to defend what you're proud of one way or another. Just my take on things. Like I said I get where you're coming from, just disagree with where you're ending up with it.

Isn't 18 the minimum age for ownership / possession of a firearm?

On one hand I can see self defense, on the other hand I see somebody who went out looking for a fight... and found one.

No min age to possess a rifle in my State.

Going to that shitshow was a bad idea. Taking a rifle with him likely kept him alive.

So you're saying that somebody is 12 to 15 can walk into any gun store and buy a gun?

Didn’t he turn himself in?
No, in the video he attempted to surrender and the police went about their business dealing with those that have been shot, he was arrested at home in ILL and on top of the murder charges - fugitive from justice was added to the list as well.. pending extradition to Wis.

LOL, everyone thinks they can play cop or be the solution to the problem.

I don't think wannabe cops/riot patrol will solve anything.
You saw in the video what happens.
Thats why you bring guns, bringing them for a fashion statement is just stupid.
Don't put yourself in dumb situations that can get you in trouble.

Anyone who says otherwise, feel free to take a rifle to your own riot, let me know how that goes.

The dumbshits that run the state will bring the right people in when the whole city is done burning.

If he was protecting his business, kill away, but like someone stated earlier, you better have a clear understanding of the law.

Its a riot against the government so if Patriots choose to engage from other states I think is a good thing, Patriotism does't recognize state borders. Yes its going to be messy but there is no other alternative to resolve this issue and life is dangerous to say the lease , tomorrow is promised to no one. When the government tells you BLM and yours don't matter in the big scheme of things then people start to get upset . This ruse of slavery that we must atone for was relevant 1776 maybe but in 2020 you can suck my left nut when your done with the right one.

Soros, Billary Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff.....et al are smiling their evil smiles and rubbing their hands together with joy with this new fodder for stricter gun control. Pure media pablum for the ignorant masses. More of these types of incidents will likely/unfortunately happen and they will all be spun by the media to further influence society toward more gun control.

NO! You're Saying that shit.

How in the fuck do you make " No min age to possess a rifle in my State" out to be this? "So you're saying that somebody is 12 to 15 can walk into any gun store and buy a gun?"
Are you drunk? You literally say there's no minimum age...

Are you drunk? You literally say there's no minimum age...

Do you even "English". Look what he said for Krist sake. He said in his State there is no minimum age to "POSSESS" a Rifle. He didn't say jack fuck about a 12 to 15 yr old going into a fucking gun store and "BUYING" a fucking Rifle. You did. Can you see the difference? You're putting your own fucking spin on something that wasn't said like CNN.

So....blm memeber....ok to shoot and loot.....average citizens.....not ok to defend yourself. This is why I stay out of lib shitholes. Let them burn the while thing down. Just leave me out 9f it.

it means he’ll be found “not guilty“.

anyone that has a link to his defense fund, post it up.

Checking out his backstory... he is an emt. He did go with a group but as an emt to help both protesters and the patriot group.

if you watch ALL the videos, in the first one he was being chased by a guy throwing things at him, one of which was a brick until he was cornered between a gas station and a car... he turned around and shot the guy (the headshot) at what looks like in the vid near point blank. Here’s what’s interesting. You can clearly see he is carrying a small emt kit, he returns to the guy he shot, gets out his phone and calls 911. He went back to help the guy he just shot.

Then the mob started chasing him again.. and he ran again. Tripped, kicked in the head, hit with a skateboard in the head (second guy he shot had just and was still hitting him in the head with a skateboard)... third guy he eventually shot actually stopped.. kid pointed gun at him but showed some restraint in the middle of the chaos and did not shoot. This guy pulled a pistol and came forward and was shot in the arm. Interesting really if you study Grossman. He hit the guy in the arm, right above his handgun. Total 100% speculation on my part...BUT... if he was hyper focused on the handgun would make sense the bullet went were his eyes were. No way of knowing if that is actually true. Could be coincidence, but interesting.

There are longer, multiple view videos out there worth watching.

Bad situation and Hope he doesn’t get hung out to dry for it.

You're keeping up with your Lisinopril intake, I hope  ;)

So being chased by attackers armed with guns
So having people throw Molotov cocktails at him
So having people try to beat him to death

Then they want to charge him with a crime for protecting his life?

I call utter BULL until the police and the "justice" system find their nuts and go arrest those terrorizing the city and rampaging around.

Where are the police going and arresting the violent mob?

Oh and then when the police told the guy to move on when he went to them so he went home, then they want to charge him with some kind of "fleeing"
MORE BULL!

Either the police are told to do their job and protect the city, or they need to let the citizens have a freed hand.

No more of this COWARDLY B.S. from the local authorities should be tolerated.

Either you DO the job the citizens pay you for, and keep law and order.
OR you get the hell out of the way and STFU when citizens do what they have to do, because the law won't.

Are you drunk? You literally say there's no minimum age...

maybe he IS drunk, maybe he aint. but what i CAN tell you, is he is NOT wrong.

regarding him being from out of state, who cares? should he have been there? if you believe in the constitution, he had as much right to be there as the fuckwits who tried to kill him. yall say what you want about the kid, but he’s still alive. and it’s that rifle that kept him that way. we can “coulda, woulda, shoulda” all day long, but the fact is, he WAS there, and they did try to kill him. he prevailed.

i’ll donate to his defense fund.

Notice that the report is very biased. It says nothing about the shooter being attacked. If unarmed he would be dead or in hospital and screwed up for life. But, his white life does not matter. It serves no political purpose.

My money is on him trying to stop the mob from doing something bad, they tried to fuck his ass up, he fled and they perused him, he dropped some bodies.

Not guilty imo.

That is exactly what went down. He saw ANTIFA terrorists physically assaulting a couple who were trying to protect their business, and capped one of the terrorists.

This also goes to show that it doesn't pay, no matter how much one is in the right, to be in a defensive or maneuver element during hostile operations.

It's tactically more advantageous to be in a concealed overwatch position considering any aftermath and actions taken by politically motivated prosecutors.

Ya, 1st off, I don't drink on Duty. ;)

"My" initial point was 1st degree Murder, if actually charged, would never stick. Period. That's all I meant. The 2nd point was his age, 17, has zero to do with him being a "minor". Hell, I've had 16 yr olds that have been remanded as adults, housed in this facility, found guilty, then sent off to big boy DOC for Murder and Attempted Murder.

He's in a pickle. They can throw him to the Wolves with a stroke of the Pen. I hope it doesn't come to that, but I'm damn sure glad it ain't my kid or my ass they're playing with. In this fucking climate? I don't like his chances.

That guy's been saying fucktarded things about aviation regulations too.......

We used to call them "sea lawyers", remember?
