Using 1 time fired Alpha Brass
I tightened up the linkage on my new RCBS Rebel press. I like the press because it has more space for reloading the .300 PRC than the old Rockchucker, but had noticeable “play” in the linkage when operating. I inserted a wave washer on both sides, next to the arms. I don’t think I should have had to do that, but it tightened it right up. Here’s a couple pictures

I proudly got a piece of Starline 6.5 Creed LR brass stuck so hard in the die I will be sending the die to RCBS tomorrow morning so they can un-fuck it.
The best time to buy a stuck case remover is the day before you need it.
It also seems to act as a talisman. Own one and never have a stuck case again.
Loaded a hundred rounds of 9mm Parabellum. Marvelled at the fact that one hundred rounds of 9mm use 420 grains of Bullseye. That is almost precisely the amount of BL(C) 2 that will load 7 rounds of 35 Whelen. In the 9 a little goes a long way, in the Whelen, a Lot does not go very far.
You must wear the hat in order to unlock the annealer’s full potential.

Annealed a whole bunch of weird shit. 6troll (6mm-223remAI) and 6x47lap (formed from ADI 243win large primer).
Works well. Aztec codes 0127 and 0172 respectively.

Sold off my trusty Giraud case annealer last week to make room the new AMP annealer that arrived on Wednesday and immediately got busy annealing a bunch of WinMag and BMG cases. I think it was a great upgrade and on a side note I have a $1500.00 AMP baseball cap I'll let go for $30.00 shipped

We are not going to worry with working all Sunday evening with sizing, priming, charging and seating the bullets in 50 Small rifle Primer Creedmoor rounds. (Everything is set up for either small primers or large primers, so to large load rifle cases (as opposed to .223 class rounds) with small primers involves sizing on the Orange crush press, then priming on the Dillon, then throwing and weighing each charge in each case and then seating the bullets on the other Dillon. So, that was Sunday
Then today...After lunch, I went up to the shop to do some reloading. Before I started, I realized that the primer feed on the small primer press was not functioning and it needed a thorough cleaning. So, I got too it. Still I had issues with the primer feed bar. I found the brand new small primer feed bar for the large primer press and used it instead. Still it took some work getting the feed bar to work. Next, I started cleaning some 9mm brass, While that brass was in the cleaner, I started sizing and lubing 32 cast bullets. Finishing that, I set up the Dillion to load the 32 H&R rounds. I loaded 100 of those. Then I started on the 9mm and loaded 93 of those. All the while, a major, thunderstorm hit our area. It was some heavy rain and a bit of wind to boot. Then it was time for supper.

made some updates in the reloading room...installed outlets around the bench (goodbye extension cords!), wired in shop lights above the bench, and added a docking bar to store presses out of the way when they're not in use.
Pro-tip @CanisLupus get a sine-wave converter or a UPS Battery thinggie, and plug your A&D FX scale into it.

I also bought one of those cheap Lee bench primer tools.
I've been using hand primer tools for a few decades but my hands just hurt after a couple hundred cases.
My hands are happy campers.
I put a touch of Pro Gold grease on the ram where it makes contact with the cartridge assembly.
Priming is a one finger job now.

I appreciate the tip for the A&D...I'm no electronics expert so I'll look into this more. I recall reading about folks plugging their scales into a power line conditioner...does a sine-wave converter perform a similar function as this? I see another rabbit hole up ahead...
Cheap it is...but I was very pleased after my first use a couple weeks ago priming a couple hundred virgin Lapua cases. I'm sure after I break and replace the plastic pieces a few times I will give in to throwing down

Cleaned off room on my second bench for a new Amp and a Giraud (second bench is getting full fast!) Messing around with seating depth with my .300 PRC.

Yes, a power conditioner is a sine wave converter. A UPS (uninterruptible power supply) is just that. As it's running on battery, it's not effected by power line spikes which fluro, LED and fridges can cause. Simple UPS does the trick, and only cost like $50-75 depending on brand.
On a different note, loaded up some spare (someone gave me) Hornady 300wm brass. Nosler 155gr custom comp, no idea on seating depth, but 180-220thou at a guess (I couldn't even touch the lands with the bullet hanging out of the case,) did it just to fireform.
77.7gr ADI 2213sc, 25" barrel, I guessed the load and velo, 3120fps. Ended up 3072fps. 2 shot zero, 3 shot group, then pinged a gong @500m, read wind, 8th and 9th shot I double tapped a 1moa @500m. Adjusted my tuner a touch, 2 in one hole, 3rd made it figure 8.
I walked away a winner. Most successful day I've had in years. Super happy. Weather SUCKED.

Working 300 gfl stamped 223 for ar plinkers. Just toss any that don't want to deprime on a universal because of flash hole off center.
The rest are giving good results.
I uniform pockets with my cordless.
And even though gfl is not crimped I run it through my swager to get a better champher for the primer. It helps stop any hung primers on the Dillon. (Pita)

They nest when not in use.

Think I will set up a pistol die to keep dirt off the dillon, and run cleaned brass / primer pockets on it.

Pulling 260 loads for the old barrel. New barrel likes a tad different spec. Wife calls this unreloading
